even as a cavs fan, kyrie never stopped being my favorite player. he is without a doubt the most misunderstood player in sports. this video honestly inspired me a lot cause it makes me feel okay about making tough decisions for myself due to my own mental struggles. not everyone is going to agree with you and support you, a lot of people will take surface level information and run with it instead of genuinely looking into things and trying to understand another person. my respect for kyrie being vulnerable and true to himself and honest about being wrong at times and making mistakes and not blaming others and just taking full mature responsibility and being fully transparent with his story is honestly so inspiring to me because a lot of people in his position would not do the same. kyrie will forever will be my favorite player and will always have my support.

We need to have more opportunities to have players not talk like "NBA Superstar Blank McBlanksen", just have them be, themself. Like Kyrie isn't talking like he's star PG for the Brooklyn Nets, he's talking like he's just another one of us. No sugarcoating, no articulation, no acting big, no nothing. Just a heart to heart. Not scared of what the media would say, the league, or anything. Just their genuine opinion. I'd love to hear Joel Embiid talk, or Derrick Rose, or hell even Russ. Just to get their side of the story. Unfiltered.
