Congratulations KQ. I flew earlier this year with this flight from JFK en-route to Zimbabwe and will be flying again in January on my way to Kigali Rwanda. Happy about this available travel option. Nisar Ahmad, US citizen. New York.
Chamwada, I love your content. Keep it up and brother keep on sharing the positive image of Kenya, Kenyans abroad and the milestones they continue to lay. Chams we love you and keep it up, Hongera and Be Blessed! Praying for KQ too.
I will be taking my maiden direct flight on 18th December. As I was searching for a flight that arrives in Nairobi during the day. I found out Ethiopian airline is way ahead in terms of number of flights. I am hoping you will catch up with them . I am looking forward for some welcome Tuskers on 18th
This route made complete sense. As a New Yorker. I would definitely do this. But what this does for East Africa and Southern Africa, is make prices competitive. Something West Africa needs.
Paul Zephanizze they won’t be adding an a380 at all but the a350 I can see it entering into its fleet once Kenya airways is privately owned by its government cuz rn this airline is broke
At the beginning someone said KQ should work on improving their customer service. That is 100% true. KQ has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. And for this reason I never fly them.
I conquer with the Man saying they should improve on communication & Service ......... I am Kenyan and have flown Kenya Airways severally to Dubai & Guangzhou and i have been disappointed severally at one time i had to forfeit my return trip & use another Carrier to return and on a second occasion we flew for 12hr total without any Tv on a brand new Boeing and even the captain never apologized. .........In 2012 i had 8 phones & several perfumes & shoes were stolen from my luggage @ JKIA while on transit ................ I hope the new CEO and Chairman Micheal Joseph will change all this because Titus Naikuni's reign @ KQ was just a Joke
Just asking... With the backdrop of the financial statements released by KQ recently ... What solutions can be offered relative to this documentary?...
There is a very dark side of KQ you do not know unless you experience it. Kenya Airways are the only Airline known to deport Africans from the Uk making a huge amount of money. I was forced in one of their planes in April 2018 but I refused to board. Tourist and Kenyans were flying from Heathrow to Nairobi who sympathised with me as I screamed that o was wrongly being removed and separated from my child and family. Long story short, I won the case in London and an apology from the home office minister. It was sad hearing all the fear other African dads and detainees who were being separated had against Kenyan airways. I am talking about people from as far as Cameroon and most of Africa who were sent to Kenya as it was a soft port before they were distributed to the rest of Africa. At Detention outside Heathrow Airport, detainees come out to wave goodbye to Kenyan airways as it flies past between 4 and 6pm. Next time you board a KQ plane, check if there is someone escorted, normally sat at the back middle isle surrounded by unfriendly faces. I know people who now ring the airline before their flight to ask if there will be anyone onboard against their will and human rights. I would like to know if they do the same from the US.
@@codyham9508 all airlines make money out of people being deported I was with two Nigerians in cuffs from Dubai while I sympathized with them there's nothing the airline can do as the tickets are paid for
Customer Service ni mbofu kabisa, I have flown them twice and never again, wacha I take 24 hours with good service.. Ujehuri starts right at JKIA. We have a long way to go..
Kenya Airways still has a lot to improve I'm still disguised with the poor service Kenya airways has offered in the last few weeks, I from my opinion I will not fly Kenya airways nor shall I recommend to my work colleagues here in Emirates, I flown recently to Maputo via nairobi from Dubai worst journey ever.....I was supposedly to arrive Maputo 14h20, instead flight connection delayed for more than 14 hours.......in my return same situation, no communication, poor on board service,.....dont take me wrong planes are great, but so much need to be improved, but my experience was a disaster. Staff on board working as like as if they were programmed , lacking hospitality touch in their manner. Its logo says " Pride of Africa" I think in Africa it's still not our pride but yes " shame".
@@eastafricanforever3457 GOOD QUESTION . Ask him. Some Africans hating on other African countries simply because their own don't have an airline to boast of. As if his country's airline would have been perfect!
As a Zimbabwean,I urge all Kenyans to be proud of this milestone and believe that it can only get better.
Thanks

A380 is no longer selling check the major airlines like emirates, its not good for business, so it cant come to Kenya.
A380 is not selling anymore
Chamwada, from the many flights you've done would you say the Earth is round or flat?
FELIX NDIRANGO the earth is round obviously
@@traphead5149 the irony is clearly lost on you
A pilot would tell you its neither, but like a pumpkin
