In the shot of the guys sitting with pets, those are all theirs! Good guess! It was filmed in Nashville so the animals with them are all either Tim's or Austin's since they live there. Tim has his cat Lenny on his lap. He and his wife fostered kittens for a while and Lenny became theirs! The beautiful white Great Pyrenes dog (with different colored eyes) in front of Tim is his dog, Satchmo. Chance is holding Austin's little dog, Koda. Austin is holding one of his cats (I can't recall the name) and the gorgeous pit is Austin's big boy, Titus! Rob and Adam have pets as well but they are in Minnesota so couldn't be in the video. Chance doesn't have a pet...yet. But has been around animals all his life and loves dogs so I'm thinking that will change. (Unless it has already and I forgot!) Tim takes Satchmo on tour with him sometimes and he appears in the background of a few videos. The cat Lenny appears in the video "Sunday Best" as a kitten. Austin has MANY animals at his home from cats to dogs, friendly deer and aquariums of fish and chickens too I think. In fact I think all their pets appear in various videos from time to time. And yes, they have top notch harmonies. And so tight!! You'd swear it was one voice! They do it live just as well as in their videos...amazing to hear live.
To see more of Austin's pets check out his video Real Talk. You can also go to his and Amberly's youtube site called The Beauty and the Bass. They introduce their dogs and their cat named Dawg. We see them cleaning out and setting up their several aquariums and a terrarium, then fishing in their private pond for the fish, spiders, and tadpoles to stock them, then releasing the tadpoles when they become frogs.
Anyone else flash back to "BHH & WWTWWS" when they see Adam teasing Titus with the dog treat?? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Senior dogs are precious with SO much love to give! 🐶 Watching this one makes me cry, but cuddling our elderly German Shepherd rescue 🐕🦺 makes me feel better--as does the video's happy ending. Great job, Home Free--thanks for spotlighting pet adoption!!❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️
The pittie (Titus) and the little one Chance is holding (Koda) appear in Home Free's What Christmas Means To Me, and in Austin Brown's Real Talk and What a Wonderful World (Animal Take). The beautiful white dog (Satchmo) is Tim's and sometimes tours with the group. He's been know to poke his nose out or come out on stage occasionally. Most notably at the very beginning of Home Free's hilarious BHH & WWTWWS, which I highly recommend.
GOD Bless HOME FREE for making everyone aware of the strong bond between pets and humans and also make us aware of the wonderful non-profits that work for the good of all of us humans and animals. The first time I heard and fell in love with this song was when I heard Linda Ronstadt cover it after The Everly Brothers in 1960. I lve that Tim and Austin brought all their fur babies with them too.
That's what I originally thought too. It was actually Jimmy Bates idea. When he brought it to the table Adam was instantly on board from what I'm told. Makes sense - of course he was!! I'm sure Adam had a big hand in it from that point on.
Phil Everly of "The Everly Brothers" wrote this song. He and his brother Don recorded it first. In the summer of 1975 Linda Ronstadt covered this. We still have it on a 45. It was our courting or dating song, on August 8th we celebrated our 47th. Anniversary. Home Free did a fantastic awesome job with this upgrade. Words can't express how much I love this song. Thank you so much Home Free for making this song even more Special.
Yep, the animals at the end are both Tim and Austin’s. The others have animals at their homes in MN and L.A. It was clever to link the lyrics to animal homelessness. Such a cute video. This song was a huge hit for Linda Ronstadt. Great reaction SG!😍
What a great song & message. I Love that Home Free is showing love for our furry friends & promoting an animal charity. Many need homes & need to be loved. Animals are great medicine & can help those with mental health issues. "When Will I Be Loved" was written & recorded by the Everly Brothers in 1960. Linda Ronstadt covered the song in 1975.
I remember - vaguely - the original, but I am old enough to remember when the Linda Ronstadt version came out, and it was HUGE. This version pays homage to both. I love that they spun this to support rescue animals. The animals they’re holding in the video do belong to some of the guys (they all have animals). You may want to check out the other two versions of this. They’re well worth a listen. Also, if you haven’t yet, check out their cover of Let The Music Play, originally by the Doobie Brothers (that was the song that started at the end of this video). It is amazing! And you do need to see Brothers. It’s funny and so very well done (of course)! Great reaction!
Another artist you need to check out - Linda Ronstadt. My favorite is her 3 CD set of songs from the Great American Songbook with Nelson Riddle. Fabulous 1940's vibe. As for this video - I was a kid the first time the song hit big and in my 20's the second time. This version certainly stands up to both of those. And I like the new bridge they added. And adding dogs never hurts. Oh, and you're gonna love Brother.
The original of "When Will I Be Loved" was by the Everly Brothers. A cover was done by Linda Ronstadt. I love Home Free's rendition as much as I do the other ones. I so enjoy your channel, reactions and commentary!
I loved your reaction! The animals give us all the feels! I believe all the animals with the guys when they are in the group belonged to them (Austin and Tim, I think). I also think you need to go back and check "Brother". I think it is one of my new all-time favorites of theirs! The video is so funny and the song is absolutely amazing. It makes for a great combination!
Great reaction! Masterful harmonies, indeed. As others have mentioned, the animals with the guys are theirs. As you continue down the Home Free rabbithole, you'll see Tim's dog, Satchmo, in some other vids. Austin's dogs are in a few, as well. Tim and Austin's cats, along with other felines they have are in various vids.
The only ones I know for sure are the red pit bull and the small fluffy pooch belong to Austin, and the GIANT fluffy white dog ("Satchmo") belongs to Tim. They're all adorable!
Great reaction to this song. It is so much fun seeing the guys animals. I know others have given you the info on the ones in the song. I know that Adam had two cats that actually had one little fighter. LOL Rob with a dog. Yes do go and see...Brother...it is so much fun. Thanks a bunch.
Linda Ronstadt's version is the one I am most familiar with & after listening to this version that must use cute pets to elicit feeling, I'll stick with her rendition. I keep trying these types of groups & keep getting disappointed. Sucks, sucky, blah.

The kitty on Austin’s lap is named Minnie.
Austin's cat in the video is Winnie, & he has another cat named Dawg that isn't in the video. 🥰
Rob's is at home in Minnesota.

so good!!! you need to check out Brother now, It's concept was Adam Rupps and it's quite comedic as well

I totally agree. They seem to just get better and better. Thank you. Great reaction.

Your reaction to animals is exactly a reaction and I loved it.
This one is good! Brother is incredible!!❤

Good call about LInda. I have that 3 vinyl album and listen to it often. A voice in it's prime with Nelson Riddle's amazing arrangements.
I love that Tim is wearing a Whataburger t-shirt being from Texas! LOL

This video is so cute! Thank you ^_^

Seconding; "Brother" is a delight!

I really like the variety of reactions you've made. It's nice to hear some of Home Free's music that doesn't get a lot of reactions.
Thanks Salvo! 🖤🍟
Loved Everly Brothers version and Linda Rondstat's versions, but equally love this one also.
Great reaction to this song. It is so much fun seeing the guys animals. I know others have given you the info on the ones in the song. I know that Adam had two cats that actually had one little fighter. LOL Rob with a dog. Yes do go and see...Brother...it is so much fun. Thanks a bunch.
Also a solo by Tim Foust. Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay. Kinda shows some of his vocal range.
The guy who finds and brings the lost dogs home is -- from I hear -- the groups cameraman Jimmy Bates. I think the dog is actually his.
Imagine a joint song with both HOME FREE and PENTATONIX!
❤❤
Have you watched Home Free’s version of Bless the Broken Road? It is so beautiful.
Glad doggie escaped to look for someone to love and want him...after rejection and rejection he finally finds a sweet guy take him home
Doesn't anybody know who the doggo star is? What's his/her name and what's his/her story? He/she gives a super performance!
The animals on their laps belong to Austin and Tim.
That would be Phil not Bill. /OSS up for me between my 2 favorite duos. Everly Brothers or Simon and Garfunkel? But, Linda? She's the best.
You mentioned on several reactions about the beatboxer. You should check out Home Free: Drum Solo [SPM ST15] It is a bit more than a drum solo.
