    At my basic encampment at the ILWG summer 2023, they told us that the reason for holding our handbooks with our arms at 90 degrees was to train us to hold a salute for the National Anthem, as the position is similar.

    I think you are really professional CAP member! but i just have a question so if lots of CAP members can't do 50 push-ups that means CAP pt standards are different from the AF standards ?

      Are you familiar with CAPP 60-50? CAP changed to the presidential youth fitness program standards about 5 years ago.

    Does CAP use any weapons or firearms in the cadet program? As in train with them

      No, firearms training is not directly done in the cadet program. Sometimes, there will be opportunities for training, but it is not in CAP's cadet program curriculum.
