8:19 , outermost layer , because it is the hottest layer and to melt gold and silver high temperature should be used . Thus the hottest outermost layer is used for melting gold and silver

Outer zone or non- luminous zone bcz it's hottest part of flame and as gold is a metal so it needs high temperature...

H.W : Goldsmiths use the outermost zone of a flame to melt gold and silver. This is because:
It's the hottest part of the flame
due to its heat it is able to melt the metals like gold and silver which have high melting points
😆Thank you for the session Kriti ma'am! It really helped me understand the structure of a flame better.hope to see you soon ma'am👋

A goldsmith uses the non luminous part of the flame as the temperature of this part is around 1300°c because it is sufficient to melt the gold at specific points and also helps to give proper shape to the gold ornaments.
Maam the session was amazing. Maam i request to bring videos on fuels and their types.

A goldsmith uses the outermost zone of a flame also called outer zone or "primary combustion zone," is used to melt gold and other metals. This zone is the hottest part of the flame and contains the highest concentration of heat and energy. Gold melts at a relatively high temperature of around 1,948 degrees Fahrenheit (1,064 degrees Celsius), and the intense heat of the inner flame zone provides the necessary temperature to melt the metal.
