The Alpine Club, the world’s first mountaineering club, was founded in 1857. For over 150 years, our members have been at the leading edge of worldwide mountaineering development and exploration.
Today we have more than 1,500 members throughout the globe creating a unique community dedicated to the pursuit of alpinism, the protection of the mountain environment and the celebration of mountain culture.
