6:44 I maintain that Dai Gonarthis is with Moash. WoK epigraph 67: "Let me no longer hurt! Let me no longer weep! Dai-gonarthis! The Black Fisher holds my sorrow and consumes it!" Sounds a lot like what's happening in Moash's internal monologue: his emotions being kept utterly suppressed.
OK, I’m calling it right now. Szeth does not have a spren. The reason he can’t use division is because he’s not bonded to the sky breakers spren , it’s because he’s bonding the ancient power of wind.
“The power cannot go to one who wants it, Dalinar.” 🌬️💨 Kaladin doesn’t want it, afaik. It’s beginning to seem likely that the apotheosis will be Kaladin’s instead of Dalinar’s.
Or Szeth! He doesn’t want anything, he just does what his honor requires. Also I’m pretty sure he’s not actually a skybreaker at this point, I think he’s bonding the ancient power of Wind which is why he can use Gravitation but not division. I know it’s a weird theory but there’s too much weird stuff with his spren
i don't know why, but having Dalinar saying that he will get Honor Shard makes me believe that Kaladin will get it more than ever, maybe it's just me tbh
It occured to me while reading the chapters - we've got three ancient spren mentioned (Wind, Stone, and Night?) and 3 shards that seem to have...assimilated them (Wind to Honor, Stone to Cultivation and Night to Odium?). Stormlight is blue-white, lifelight is green-white and void-light is purple-white. And Roshar has 3 moons - Nomon which is blue, Mishim which is green and Salas which is purple. (spoilers for Tress of the Emerald Sea) based on Tress, we sort of get the impression Luhel bonds require some kind of physical exchange (water, it seems?) for power and is related to moons somehow. Roshar has 3 moons that match closely to the three kinds of light on the planet and the 3 ancient Spren. With how some of those epigraphs are going, maybe stormlight era 2 will switch from nahel to luhel bonds? Especially with Kaladin apparently on a path to becoming a flying musical therapist, maybe the prerequisite of soul-cracking mental harm is just going to be a lot rarer and luhel bonds become more common because of that?
Always love a theory, but think you might be reaching here. I don’t think the ancient forces were assimilated by each shard, as we get confirmation that the Night somehow left, and Cultivation made the Nightwatcher in their place. We also know that the Wind is still kicking around as she was speaking to Kaladin. And the Stone we’re told wanted a “legacy” in the form of a child between Honor and Cultivation. I think it’s more likely there were other ancient forces like these 3 which were unmade by Odium. Then regarding the Luhel bond, it’s just a bond that trades physical for physical, and we’ve seen “water” as the trade off so far. Nothing to do with Moons *Spoilers for Tress* The moons in Tress produce Spores, which fall to the planet Luminar, and Brando has confirmed this isn’t usually how spores are created. White sand also uses a Luhel bond, and that’s just everywhere on Taldain. I do agree there’s something unique about the moons of Roshar which will be explored at some point, but I don’t think they have anything to do with Luhel bonds. And for radiants to have a change in bond doesn’t make any sense, as a Nahel bond is a trade of cognitive for physical, ie a Spren bonds with the physical realm through a person to access surges. Having a Luhel bond would mean no bonding to spren and so no surges, you can’t just substitute out a bond with another and have the same effects. Don’t mean to shoot down your theorising as it’s always fun, just don’t quite agree with your points.
@@arlaalfrost8445 You make good points 😁. Most of my theory was wild speculation formed right after reading. I do think that Roshar's moons are tied to storm, life and void light though
Could Lift follow and aid Dalinar in the Spiritual Realm? If Dalinar needs a thief to steal a gem containing an Unmade, it's her. Plus, she did something similar in Oathbringer.
What if kaladin and syl become Honor together. Then do a "full" bonding together becoming a new person. I think it could fit both characters and it's not romantic.

Yeah this is my theory as well, I think it is what corrupted the Honorblade.
Good theory
When Odium wins the contest and claims Dalinars soul AFTER dalinar takes up the Shard of Honor, I'll be over here in the corner crying
STORMS 😭

@@Mightyjordy that’s a totally valid point. Lols I like this better.
Wit says Roshar doesnt have the common cold, but that changed during a purelake interlude a while back when Baon, Gallodon, and Demoux visited

I think he will end up as the GOD unity
Not just you. I have been suspecting this as well.
I think he'll ascend but still lose the contest, ending up as a shard under odium's power
Ooh, but Kal getting it aligns well with "son of tanavast" and Dalinar ruining the stormfather's plans
Same. Especially since there was a literal scene in the earlier chapters where Dalinar makes Kaladin his heir

So the night left. I wonder if there's some sort of Brigade that perhaps owes allegiance to this ancient power
Next chapter’s gonna be a Szeth flashback I’m sure
While it could be about Scadrial, I honestly think the political fundraisers joke is meta commentary on the current US presidential election
Doesn't wit talk about earth a good amount?
He says things that we say here on earth because of earth culture and religion.

Not the Stormfather acting sus again 😩
Moelach was in Kharbranth, but then moved to the Shattered Plains during TWoK and WoR
My favorite part is hoid been more open about what he is. is badass this dude
Cephandrias is the GOAT man
THESE MATCHBOOKS RULE!
IMO Chemoarish has gotta be the unmade in Shinovar. Maybe we’ll finally figure out why people mistake her for the nightwatcher.
Guess that the Listeners hadn't reclaimed the buildings so they could hide their settlement?
More and more I suspect Kaladin will get the Honor Shard because he's Dalinar's heir.
Kaladin could either end up as the bondsmith to the Wind or Honor but man Kal deserves a break😅
