I've watched HIMYM like 10x times but just now I realized what a heartwarming smile he has he seem so peaceful, kind and just balanced. I am the absolute opposite of him.
yes, I watched him as Doogie when I was a kid and I can't believe that he's grown to be such a balanced and cool person (unlike many child actors). Plus, he's super handsome ;)
NPH is insane. I went to one of his live shows many years ago, shot at Kaufman Studios in Astoria Queens. NPH tight rope walked, while Jack Black played an electric guitar that was literally on fire. Oh BTW, the show was LIVE!! 😜 Met NPH’s husband while bustling out and chatted him up for a minute, super nice guy.
Neil Patrick Harris is an very versatile actor and talented love his work love him in undercover brother and how i met your mother hilarious, good man.
Most people forget that he voiced Spider-Man two times. For an animated series and then a game, for which he even won the game award for best performance
Don't know much about The Matrix movie franchise but now I'm compelled to watch the new movie because of Neil Patrick Harris. He is frickin' amazing !!!
I support the other comment 100%, please watch the other 3 first otherwise it won't make sense. You can have your own opinions on them afterwards, as you should, but please do not watch this one without the other 3.
Douglas"Doogie" Howser, MD. Anyone remember him typing on his computer at the end of each episode? Thought that was cool, bc this was before home computers was a thing!!
For real though you are am amazing person Mr. Harris. Thank you for all your hard work over the years. You have entertained and delighted so many people. We can always count on you for when we need to smile and laugh. Thank you!
*note from a parent that has gone though this. (a few times)* You know its time to get your kid a phone when YOU need them to have a phone. aka when they are getting independant enough to walk home from school and organize their own rides to activities ect.
@@bethb7965 No. Just a couple of glances. Being by yourself at Wal-Mart and laughing, is one of the more tame activities they usually see around there!
My two cents: I believe a phone is a right of passage that is earned once responsibility is established without the suggestion of an authoritative figure. If you come home one day and a child shows genuine interest in something that they weren't told was important, it's time to consider talking about a phone. For instance: they develop a sense of duty to protect a possession that a parent or guardian did not expressly dictate as valuable (like they take great care in making sure a special toy isn't damaged by putting it in a protective case when it's not being played with). If a child shows that they can take great care of a toy without being instructed to do so, they may be able to take great care of a phone. Of course, it would have to be locked down like Tony Stark did to Spider-Man's first suit with the "training wheels protocol". You wouldn't want a 12-year-old to be exposed to social media quite yet. That's a whole other story.
I know recently (I couldn’t find where I watch all your videos all the time! Love your show) you made a joke about the Covid situation in Florida, talk about NY…all of their restrictions and the have 20,000 cases a day…so what is the solution? No matter what things are still bad!
Logically, if a child wants their own phone, and you're not confident as to whether or not to get them a phone, it makes sense to me that you tell the kid that the moment they have a job that will not only pay for the phone but that they could pay for the service on their own for an year.
NPH preached he wasn't getting his daughter a phone in 8-Bit Christmas, and his daughter in the movie is about the same as real life, so it's good that he's standing by his own words from the movie.

Such an underrated actor love his work. DC should put him as the riddler. I feel he would be so great for that role!
💯💯💯
I have loved Neil for years! What a great person he has grown up to be.

The Barnacle
Neil is such a cool guy! Very down to earth, humble. Great sense of humor!
I freaking love NPH!! I loved him since forever. Specially on Harold and Kumar movies 😂

Phenomenal actor/performer, and I'm glad to see he's on his way to transforming into Sting
Most people forget that he voiced Spider-Man two times. For an animated series and then a game, for which he even won the game award for best performance
Did not know this! The things you learn in the RUclips comment section! Lol

Definitely watch the first three movies before you watch this new one; you’re going to miss out on so much if not.

@@lidialondres yes of course I will watch the previous films first. Actually I wasn’t clear I meant NPH makes me interested in this franchise
He is ama wait for it..... Zing
Just here to praise that beaver joke. One guy in the audience got it
Whew, I guess I'm smart 'cause I got it also...I think🦡
A lot of people got it because we see him and Jim Parsons for their acting and fame and respectful and aren’t concerned about whom they love
I like his honesty when he says he is a fan of the first Matrix (but not 2 and 3).
The whole trilogy is great
Neil was in Star Wars, he was Spider-man, Count Olaf, he was even in The Matrix, he's had some great roles!
And in Smurfs!
So I just heard of How I met Your Mother (I guess I lived under a rock) and been binge watching and omg dude is so funny 😆
Welcome to the fandom :)
Thanks for making me smile and laugh today. Hugs and blessings.
I had no idea NPH was in this Matrix! I'm even more excited to see it now!!!
He's just so "legen....wait for it...dary" 😂😍😍
Glad to see NPH in more and more movies. He was great in Gone Girl.
NPH is the best! I’ve loved him since Doogie. So cute and so talented!
Fun holiday interview! Very entertaining!
He is simply awesome
NPH you should start Harper with a pager, and work on up from there! Happy Holidays to you all at Jimmy Kimmel! Thanks for the laughs!!
He needs to do a cameo on the Good Doctor.
Never heard of that show, how about a cameo on the new Doogie? 😎

I really appreciate actors and actresses who don't use fillers, Botox, or surgery to appear younger. Neil still looks charmingly and genuinely boyish.

I was born in the same small town as Neil Patrick Harris and I am IMMENSELY proud of that❤
"Gentleman's Goop" 🤣😂
NPH what a bright guy and so interesting.
So great to see Barney
I loved his Matrix sound effects
That beaver joke did NOT get the applause it deserved!
No, it did not. I laughed out loud in the middle of Wal-Mart. To absolutely nothing as far as the people around me were concerned.
@@randibgood 😂 did people start walking further away from you??

Yodeling pickle, Aztec death whistle are two awesome gift suggestions. I wonder why no one mentioned them 🤔
😂🤣
He's aging gracefully. The salt and pepper hair really suits him.
I love the this guy! 😘
Barney is legendary, Spider-Man is amazing and Neil is great
Damn. He gave so much away about his role in The Matrix Resurrection without saying much.

She will have a phone very soon. Probably before she’s 12. Phones are like what bicycles were to kids in 1960.
I love the Glowforge machine. Glowforge sent me here.
11:20 "pre covid" xD
I'm so excited for the Matrix
