Well, they didn't design the unit in such a way, after all Shogun Executioner is a Campaign only unit and in the campaign, there were so many Tesla Coils which just recharges the Shogun Executioner, so death was literally impossible. So, adding death animation is useless.

It's actually really easy to kill the Shogun Executioner, all you need is one cryocopter. I once shrinked it and just crushed it with an ore miner.
