All those Indy's for 1 US dollar!?! Nice! Now when you team Indy up with the Joe's, he can say, "Snakes, why'd it have to be snakes!?", Recondo can reply, "Vipers and Eels, those are very dangerous...you can go first!" lol. Great video, thanks for sharing, kinda makes me want to go. YO! JOE-BURG!!

Interesting take. So like when the Power Rangers combine their individual weapons for some serious firepower? They all stand around it with their hands on each other’s shoulders and blast away? Do you even have any clue as to what I’m taking about?! 😝
@@gijoburg Oh buddy, you are such a 90's kiddo 🤣😂😜. I do remember such but maybe not so much that touchy feely power increase. That store was like a museum. It would be cool to see all the Hot Toys and 3rd party Transformers together as you dont see a big collection together like you used to be able to in stores.
What an awesome place. My wife is from China so next time I'm in Chongqing and Chengdu I'm going to look for some places like this. Great video as always. If your still there try the egg tarts at KFC. Pretty tasty stuff in my opinion.

Weeeeeeell, my time in China is actually a side-effect of my job. 7 months in PRC touring a production of Matilda The Musical. But I am very grateful to have a spouse that encourages my hobby!
Amazing to see all that stuff on shelves! We have Chinese shopping malls in Canada but not so expansive. Were you able to compare what toys cost over there?
Did one quick check: an item selling for USD160 on eBay is priced at USD111 here. But it stands to reason: it’s all produced here, so there are savings to be had!
Just a fellow collector question; having bought Indiana Jones figures for pennies on eBay, and seeing how you scored in China, my question is if you have ever seen modern G.I. Joe figures anywhere (online or in a store) in the last two years for reasonable prices? Seems like G.I. Joe has skyrocketed in price since 2007, and is not coming back down any time soon.
Depends on what you’re looking for really. Rise Of Cobra figures are STILL around and dirt cheap. More desirable figures don’t really appear often. I saw a guy on a Singapore based online trading site selling FSS figures at what I can only assume is cost price! So yeah, I do believe there is less price gouging in the East. Joe isn’t as highly prized out here.
So interesting that you spoke of Rise of Cobra toys. I was in Tokyo today, in an area known for its toy shops, and some of the cheapest stuff I came across was Rose of Cobra!
True. True. I imagine it’s compounded by the import costs. I should price them here; I could be mistaken but I didn’t think the larger items were more than $50-$70?! I could be mistaken...
Indeedy. Unless the producers fix the price themselves like H&M stores do for instance. Tho in China there always exists the possibility of bootlegs...
Yeah they have two scales. They started with joe (sorta) scaling and now they are making smaller (and cheaper) versions because it think at the end of the day they just couldn't sell enough of the handpainted joe scale versions. They are hella expensive.
Plenty of knock offs. But the stuff I showcase in this vid is all the real stuff. Apart from third-party Transformers that is. But a lot of that stuff has as good if not better quality than the official Hasbro/Takara stuff! Madness. Transformers fans are over-catered to!

Some nice transformers and stuff--but it's G.I. JOE/Cobra or BUST!!! Us JOE fans need to petition the world governments to bring joes back in their purest forms: 1980's action figures and vehicles!
