Thank you for opening up my eyes to see the neck as never before in 50 years. I always said "I can play guitar but I am not a guitar player. " I am wrapping up prior commitments and will sign up this month.
Brian ! thanks for always prompting me to think / little tweaks, reminders & seemingly always something new comes of it for me - from you . Your right on man . One of the best . Cheers
Yet another great lesson. I've been a premium member for 2 years now. Best thing I've ever done. Wish this around when I was a teenager. Awesome stuff!
Agreed !! The reinforcement of having just one chord played in 3 positions , for me , just helps fix those positions in your brain without trying especially if your memory is not as good as it once was, like mine!
You have the best knack for making something so elaborate-sounding so attainable for my mediocre intermediate self. Thank you for making me sound better than I am!
I have watched your vids from the dark ages and you forever amaze me with the tastiness of the original arrangements you create. I would buy a whole album of the kinda stuff I’m hearing right here. Please tell me you have or will release some original tunes someday - soon. And if that were not enough, we get a song breakdown with some of the best teaching on RUclips. And if that was not enough, we get to yearn over your vintage and quirky guitars. Thanks.
Brian-You are an exceptional teacher and I am motivated after each lesson. You are so articulate and your playing is great, regardless of style. Thank you very much!!!
I just started watching your videos, excellent content. You over deliver. First time I've seen a tele with a p90. It looked like you were playing through it. Nice job !
I really like this! Very interesting to see what you'll come up with next. Great! Sounds a bit like Chester Lester at the Renaissance Festival. Les really had that Gypsy sound on that album.
Hi Brian! Premium member here :-) It would be really helpful if you could identify all this chord extensions, i.e. if it's say A9 or A13 or whatever (you get my point), as I am just starting to make the connections between fingerings and chords/chord extensions for a bit more advanced chords... Many thanks! Just a suggestion for the tab or something... or even another golden microlesson, based on this one! Cheers!
This is ok, but I would love to see you go more into jazz /blues direction. I have really enjoyed some of your past lessons on jazz/blues especially the Kenny Burrell inspired one. Thanks for your fantastic lessons. I have learned over 30 of your compositions especially the stand alone ones.
@@stevebrowne8421 That would be great. We've all learnt so many great blues idea's/songs from Brian but I think some of us are ready for more of the jazz/blues.
Perfect lesson for what I want to learn. In the future, it would be interesting if you could do some Hawaiian style guitar and show us some basics to Hawaiian style guitar playing.
Great lesson playing the same chords in different positions , with a melody as well, hopefully will help it stick in the old memory .
I've been playing 40 years I think this guy's got the best sounding stuff which people like to hear and it's just great stuff

Me too. I've wondered if I had this sort of lerning tool as a teenager how much further I'd be now.

Phenomenal teaching. No one is more generous with sharing their knowledge than Brian. Chapo sir!
Cool sounding Creative Tune. You always amaze at your creativity. Always eye opening--the elusive obvious. Stay Well Groovy One!
I just needed that beautiful not too difficult minor thumb pick piece! That's the perfect lesson for Chetty👍🎸🙏

Brilliant lesson. Love it.
Love it! Sounds like a silent movie…
that was gorgeous!
Thanks Brian, a little more chord melody/ standards would be awesome. Totally understand that you have a wide field of subscribers learning styles.

Just pretend the label for this one is “Jazz / Blues Guitar Lesson”
Yes, a little more chord melody, jazz standards w a blues influence would be great.

this was a great one !
Great lesson, thanks. What type of tele is that? What pickups does it have?
Thanks Brian for your valuable video
Hey, what kind of pickups are those?
@12:26 did you mean " minus the 5th string"?
Perfect lesson for what I want to learn. In the future, it would be interesting if you could do some Hawaiian style guitar and show us some basics to Hawaiian style guitar playing.
What kind of guitar is that?
Nice shirt Brian!
Good stuff thanks
Great work! (Don't do jazz!)
Kinda sounds like Fernando’s Hideaway:)
🤘
Let my people go.
1930s cartoon to go with it?
