Right brother, so glad you got to be there. I just happened across this, so cool to see they performed in 2022. I have every album plus many of both Bill (get well!) and Buckethead who I saw some years back when he performed solo new years eve at Great American Music Hall in S.F. It was incredible he commanded the stage for maybe 2 hours it was timeless. 🎉
Unbelievable. I was just watching Traffic '94, and then this popped up! Aug. 2022! Wow they're back! Praxis- I didn't even know any video was available of them. I have every album! The best funk progressive rock out there.
I saw them at Bonnaroo 2004. There’s plenty of video on youtube. Material also played at that festival but have not seen any video of that surface yet.
I was there 🥳 I was over on the right side in the VIP tables!! Great 2 nights in NYC, the 1st time I'd ever been there & it was just amazing 🎸🎶🎶 great video ty!!
@ it’s funny when I first asked this, I think the answer I was looking for was interworld but thank you for commenting with bent light all this time later. It’s what I really needed. Absolutely love this so much!! Thank you 🤍 🐔
@@Noah_Levi Actually, it’s both. I gave you Bent Light as the live album Tennessee 2004 can be found on many services. Interworld… is the first variation of the song and is on the album Transmutation (Mutatis Mutandis) which is hard to find. It is still available on Bandcamp if you are interested to get this rarer album
All hail the o.g bucket crew, wakarusa, 2005, toads place 2004, pearl st, north Hampton Ma, Truly magical moments, which lead to unbreakable and rare freindship with a few I consider family, you know who u are, everyone at this show truly experienced a moment in true musical history regardless of the minor flaws these guys had in the beginning
As far as I know, he is very sick, unfortunately his fingers hurt, but as Yoko said, there is a positive trend, it seems to me that the concert took place at the very peak of the disease
That song at 11:25 is _Interface/Stimulation Loop_ which featured Bootsy Collins on bass when it was recorded in the studio. Too bad Buckethead has to play the slap bass part on the guitar now. I'd love to see the original guitar/bass interaction from the studio on stage.
Epic always looked up to bucket for last 20 years admired such a talent at the skill. Amazing. Great showmanship also. Great they did this group. Great knows great. From good to great (good, real good, great, master, legend) legends on many. The journey continues. Wish they could add one more and a legendary singer for a one album onetour mega thing. Maybe Alex rose, and the guy from 9ince nails and Dr Dre or lil Wayne I dunno, maybe Lee Anne rymes for a country tune. I dunno it's going to just get better. Stay healthy. And meditate. Love your life. Yolo. Peace be with you. 🕊️
Stood right next to whoever videoed this lol. The best was when they couldn't get his audio right and he was like "fuck it, ill fix it myself" then went off shortly after. Great show, sad it ended early for some reason.
@@dirtthesixth I feel you. Wish the night of the 30th was a bit more like the 31st. Uploaded my perspective of the 30th if you want to see from a different angle

@@dirtthesixth yeah I'm glad you got all of day 1, I really wanted to film the whole thing but I've done that for every show I've been to so I really wanted to enjoy this one for once lol
It’s strange that people use the word “praxis” in such a cavalier way. It’s almost as if someone is trying to delegitimize the word on purpose. Lots of words get denigrated for political reasons these days. Being “earnest” isn’t cool. “trustworthy?”? Also not cool. Nothing white is cool. But “sick” is cool. And “dog” is cool, if you’re referring to another person. Ho? Very cool. The word “praxis” refers to the process of converting thought into action. So it could also be thought of as going from moral thoughts to ethical outcomes. And that’s the problem. There shouldn’t be three different words for moral flow. Somebody needs to coin a phrase which combines “moral-ethical-outcome” into a single word. That way, people could talk about a complex situation as a single event. So if people are discussing a dispute, then a flow-tag would indicate the moral-ethical-outcome philosophy of each person (or group) involved. Some people are mostly concerned with the principal of the matter, some with the actions taken, and some with the outcomes achieved. For example, government bullshitters usually accomplish nothing, at great expense. They operate on principal. Armies love physical movement, so they’re concerned with ethics. Private employers have bills to pay, so they focus on outcomes. (But perhaps not enough on morals and ethics.) So there could be a dozen words going from one extreme to the other. “Very Moral - No Outcomes” to “Immoral - Fixed Outcomes”. With the correct adjective, it would be possible to indicate someone’s way of life. Maybe the words could be taken from Greek and Roman Mythology. There’s a good book called “Gods and Heroes” by Korwin Briggs. But it would probably be better to use only Roman Gods for English.
Buckethead never seems to age.
I was at this show , brilliant. Get well Bill

@ioneye was too and has a couple of great interviews with Bill from the past year. He talks about these shows.
That’s me yelling PRAXIS!!! man, what a show. Good times!

Is Bill Laswell okay? BH & Brain were on point, but Bill just seems to be just sitting there. I hope he's okay. I've been a fan of his for 30 years.
Hes pretty sick right now. We are all praying for him
I know he had been very sick before this show. He talked about it in an interview I heard recently.

Toggle switches galore!
The red buttons are "kill-switches". When you hit the button it mutes the sound.
