- From their 1976 release “The Royal Scam” come a sad tale of one Owsley Stanley who, whatever his talents might have been as a sound technician for the Grateful Dead, was most certainly a very talented bathtub chemist. Inventing single handedly the modern manufacture of highly pure forms of LSD copiously supplied to the Dead, Owsley was very successful as a drug dealer until running out of gas (is there gas in the car?) on an LA freeway with a truckload of contraband.
The lead solos by Larry Carlton are sheer guitar finery. - Видеоклипы
Wow! It's a fantastic!👏👏👏 Good job my dear guitar friend♪Big Like1👍 Thank you for wonderful music♪Have a nice day😉💕
Any day spent playing SD songs is a good one……Peace
@@TimMeyerMusic you are most welcome😉👍
Thank you! This is an incredible, imaginative arrangement. So many subtleties and nuances. The timings and rhythms are unexpected and so musical. My brain wanted to figure it out, but then just surrendered to it. And, oh yeah, incredible playing and singing. I hope you do much more of these.
I'm a fan!
@@engineeringartist4801 I can't tell if you're a master troll (in which case, well played!) or just have issues ...
Expert! Moving! 🙏🏼🥲
This song captures so much about the scene in San Francisco late 70’s….and how it all came crashing down. All his “customers “ joined the human race and he got busted……tsk, tsk
Great work Tim. Great tones and textures.
Been working on this one for decades……thanks listening Kuriko
Fantastic cover! Very much enjoyed
Glad you like……what a great song!
Excellent and well done friendo Tim. ;^) ♪
As usual, I'm a big fan of your golden voice and your personalized and unusual arrangements.♪
That harmonizer with your voice is pretty amazing (super chorus + very catchy) nice outro too♪
The best is yet to come, and yes I just put 40$ of gas on my car today (true, (Lol..!) ♪

My back up singer ladies in a box…..so much going on in this song and singing at the same time is a challenge. Thanks again friend Sebastien for your dedication to this music. Peace
@@TimMeyerMusic It's unfortunate that you haven't captured your whole self in the camera frame.♪
For my tutorials, I voluntarily chose not to show my face, because I add all the extra animations for educational purposes
but in your case, your face disappears, and reappears, and sometimes only half of your forehead. ♪
Also, what are your software (audio & video) do you use, before publishing?
And again, I love your interpretation of the *chorus*. ♪
Peace amigo + respect ;^) ♪

After 15 secs of 'where is he going' the groove kicks in. Very cool, nice playing style. It really deserves a better sound mix. Love Steely Dan, thanks for arranging and playing - didn't expect that.
I keep hearing about the mix needs improvements - obviously I’m an amateur at recording…..always something to work on. SD Forever!
cool steely tune tim you rock😎🎸
Steely Dan Forever…….love me some SD - which for fans in the know could quite possibly sound a tad …..well……odd shall we say
Cool mon ami, sub and like . Phil
Hi Phil…….checking out your channel - I had the chance to work with a vibraphone player this summer on a Steely Dan set. Lovely instrument works so well with the harmonies of Fagen and Becker
