    I have the bonafide rails that I put on my Wilderness Recon120 with Torqeedo 403, they are ok but they stick....hence the reason I am checking out this video....thanks for sharing.

    On my Bonafide rvr119 I use the SS127 foot control steering adapters and it works with the NK180, but there’s a lot of torque on the pedals at high speed in river current to fight my way upstream. I’m definitely interested in checking yours out when I upgrade to the NK300 if you’re going to sell them. I think my current set up will fail with the 300.

    • @KayachtLife
      @KayachtLife  5 месяцев назад +1

      If I decide not to sell I am still willing to help people out and can work with those on an individual level, but if the demand is there I will set up a shop for them and some other diy items I’ve come up with and have planned!
      Thanks for the feedback, you confirmed my suspicions :)

    If I got the Nk180 pro or the 300 on the back I would 100% do a set up like yours so the pedal able to retract. The stock one looks cheap. I think with sand and salt it would be such a pain. Looking forward to part 2.

      I reshot it and am importing into Final Cut Pro now. Takes awhile to import and then needs to be edited. If FCP doesn’t crash and burn on me like last time, I did back up the footage this time. Then I should have it out tomorrow evening aka Monday

      @KayachtLife  4 месяца назад

      I tagged you in a community post about it. Final Cut Pro after two hours of editing decided to lose the edits, I still have the footage and hopefully tomorrow I can get it edited and uploaded. I did film it for about two hours and then edited it for another two. Worked on it until 2am even. But it was not meant to be. Go to the community post and look for the sneak peak pic of version 2 though.

      @@dennisputthoff4261 yeah this stuff takes longer than I think it should, usually because of unexpected tech issue, but then also because I have a full time job, a family, and I want to fish too, hopefully I can this week!
      I think I have my setup finally good though, my first set of mics I had I had to send back because they were faulty. The Final Cut Pro issue last night apparently is a common thing and I might be able to recover, I just won’t have time to find out, due to prior commitments, until at least tomorrow.

    Honestly the Bonafide rail is not all that great. The piece that slides inside the rail is plastic and does not slide very smoothly. It’s a big reason I’m watching this video. I’m looking for a solution that may work better on my SS127.

      I'm designing and making Teflon "Slider Caps" for the rail-type steering system I now have on the Titan-X 12.5 (the "Stock" foot steering is WAY too flimsy and drags too much, even with a little NK180...!). If it works the way I picture it, it may be the easiest and cheapest way to go. (I'm also designing a longer-armed "Steering Triangle" for my NK300, as that has Beastly Torque!). Lol
      I might let everyone know how it goes, especially Greg...!

    • @KayachtLife
      @KayachtLife  4 месяца назад

      @@MSmith-jf5wo nice, keep me posted. I ended up with the innovative sportsman steering triangle. Good call on a wider steering triangle would make turning it easier. Let me know how it goes, I might try my hand at it too.

    Fresh water.

    • @KayachtLife
      @KayachtLife  4 месяца назад

      I would say with freshwater and taking care of the parts you could try any of them. But I still think it’s wise to use stainless if possible. So versions 2 or 3 with upgraded stainless parts. I fish saltwater and my parts corroded quickly, not sure how long it would take using them in freshwater.
