@mattedominance I have a appointment to get a Beard transplant March 2023 in that clinic, what do you think about that them ,”Smile Hair clinic”. I don’t have beard, how natural you think it will be results, and Alison if you are interested I can share my experience to your channel in order to help viewers have better ideas of producers.
5:41 but his hair is much thicker, than the hair of Mikes. I think the man in 5:41 has a lot of multiple folicules with 3-5 hairs. Look at his hair, how thick it looks and compare it with mikes thinner hairs. It is normal, that you need much more grafts, 1000 more, to gtet a good densitiy.
The patient at 5:05 has very good donor area for his outcome to look this impressive. Many of us have a less workable (thin) donor and thus rely on less desirable beard and body hair donors for scalp. Donor and age are critical. Mike’s donor area in back of head post HT is sparse or depleted looking. Yikes. Totally agree trying oral and topical (including shampoos) prior to a HT.
I don’t actually think it’s a case of the top clinics being able to do more with less grafts, I think it’s a case of Turkish clinics aren’t honest about how many grafts they’ve given you. Notice how it’s always a round number, like 3500, 4000 or 4500.
@@russ1490 Less. I got 3500 grafts in Turkey in 2020 and I went for a consultation with a top Spanish doctor last year who asked to see pictures of my donor straight after extraction. The hairline is fantastic. Can't get any better with a top surgeon. The main concern is I suspect the best doctors in big clinics treat celebrities while common people have to deal with technicians. Having the doctor doing the haversting and the holes is a must to guarantee some consistency.
I don't understand why he didn't mention this crucial point in this video, he is trying to be as political as possible but this is not genuine enough of a review
People keep repeating the same myth that a techincial = no skill. If a doctor hires technicians to do such work, the reaon is simple: he can't be bothered to do the job for 8h himself, so he hires help. It's the same with every company that ever existed....
Honestly... if you're going to do this, go with the best. Avoid Turkey all together. Take no risks. This So either Dr. Patrick Mwamba in Brussels or FUE Expert in Madrid. You're best bet is with any IAHRS certified hairtransplant surgeon. I pray to the gods Mike Majlak is on finasteride, because otherwise he's going to look like a joke in 10-15 years 😅
Not sure what happened to Dr Mwamba but I am not seeing the same consistency of TOP results as before. Especially last year I have witnessed several results that were not as one would have expected :/ I bet he is not on Finasteride and will probably start stressing out about treatment once hair loss on existing hair kicks in more aggressively.
@@steveg9302 my guess is the same as what happened with asmed in Turkey sometimes when clinics get too big and too popular they start to relegate certain functions that they would typically do because they don't want to lose clients it's all about the cash

it's not a 2k euros hair clinic, for 2k you get technicians operating on you at this clinic, to get DrMehmet or another one of the founding doctors it's 5.8k euros. for a non founding doctor with more than 5 years experience it's 3.3k euros
No. You will need 2 HT. One for the front and one for the crown. Going all in at 6k grafts. the chances of over harvesting and dying grafts is very high. You will need to get on medication as well. Manage your expectation. You will never have a head full of hair but you will get close. hope this helps.

His donor is completely depleted... Unfortunately, he doesn't have an option to have a second transplant later on in his life, and there are chances that he'll need it.
Take into account they *knew* he was the show off model for RUclips, and knowing that they give him bet best of the best of treatments. That does not mean that the average Joe that goes in their clinic will get the same top level treatment. It does not mean it's a standard level they keep.
i’m sorry but you really consistently overestimate people’s norwood level… mike would’ve been a norwood 3 MAX before the transplant… he was really an advancing Norwood 2.
Mike was balding pretty bad in the back... He's way past nw2. And also the norwood scale is just a guide. It isn't set in stone. Everyones pattern is different

@@JDeanbeats2023 He went good but it's going to be hard for the next few days because I have to sleep straight using a neck pillow. The hardest part is the anesthesia that they put in. It hurts but other than that the whole process doesn't hurt that bad. Very nice people.
I hope you are doing good, how many grafts?
Just for the record, Mike Thurston had his hair transplant in London not in Turkey.
You aren't comparing whether or not the after photos are with fibers or if they are on medical therapy. There are dozens of variables. This information needs to be known to best understand the results accurately.
I agree with the biggest thing is that the FUE expert seems to have amazing results but I wonder how many of those people had Finasteride regrowth etc
@@HairTransplantReality
Such clinics ask you to be on Finasteride even before the operation for 6 months/1 year, then keep on taking it forever after the operation alongside Minoxidil sometimes.
They also choose their patients carefully, patients that are good candidates for the operation.
They don't care about one's health nor side effects, they just want you to keep on using those medications so they can take the best before/after pics!
Why is it so cheap in Turkey but not anywhere else? Lol in Canada even the cheapest is like over $10,000.
Im in canada shutup.
Smile hair clinic is a very top clinic
That before and after picture doesn’t look like the same person
Here I am an actual man choosing to accept that I went bald or started to bald already at 24. Buzzed my head at 26 and the next day razored it completely and has been rocking the bald look for nearly 22 years. I am man enough to not feel to self conscious about it. Just accept it. It's common it's a male thing. Just own it. I get if you're female how much more damaging it would be.
Textbook NW3, but I am not here to argue. Did I say something else in the video? I meant NW3, sorry...
Mike was balding pretty bad in the back... He's way past nw2.
And also the norwood scale is just a guide. It isn't set in stone. Everyones pattern is different
@@iamrichlol Sure but most follow the NW scale pretty close. My patten followed the nw scale exactly except my hair first thined in the shape of a +. A small line down the center of my head to the crown and the other line horizontal at the widow peaks
8 months is not nearly as finished result...
He got star treatment tho. Results won't be the same for all.
obviously they gonna put special care into a celebrity they using as an advert
Drop turkey.. visit Greece clinics instead.. they follow EU standards, and one of the the cheapest in Europe. 1000x results.. compared to Turkey..
How much
His donor looks wrecked. What’s the point in lowering ur hairline if the back of ur head is going to end up looking like that? Did half the grafts end up in the bin?
It’s $4K now !!
In Turkey ?
The guy is just jealous that turkey is taking all the market with 2000/3000 dollars surgery, instead of 10-15k same level surgery
What a stupid judge!!, thinks he can put down anybody.
THis guy needs to stay out of everybodys buisness, he has a big mouth!.
his back is 😵💫☄️ not worth it
You yourself really need to close ypur temples better before you speak your temples are open doesnt look right
Totally do not agree with u 👎🏻
Why your hair looks like a wig 😅
I was thinking of going to smile contacted them everything this guy is putting doubts in my head
see my honest review about Smile in this comment section and think twice about where you want to do you're hairtransplant....the are not the top clinic they want you to believe...
Same here.I have been reading reviews on smile clinic, and all the latest reviews are negative.
@@jw-xo5sw, have any alternative BETTER suggestions???
This video is almost useless. It only talks about Smile clinic and it leaves us with no clear answer whether this clinic is good or not. It shows photos of other HT patients but it doesn't mention where they got their HT done at! What good is that ?
Why would a millionaire go to to Turkey for a cheapo?
Well,Turkey has the strongest reputation and good marketing when it comes to attracting patients for transplants from overseas. He is not the first millionaire going to a cheap Turkish clinic though. Mayweather, P. Craig, V. Oezdemir, Coach Greg, Loris Karius, AKON. 80% of them could have chosen a better in Turkey... Having a lot of money does not make people smarter always...
I've always thought that Mike was paid a lot of money to have the surgery and promote the clinic.
There's no way he paid anything. It's kind of insulting to people's intelligence that he keeps saying he paid 2k.
@@iamrichlol Yes he was.
@@letsgethair there's just no way he paid. He was probably paid 5 figures by them imo
