That was actually a great point about democracy. When the people are informed and active democracy is strong and works great; but because it puts so much power into the hands of the populace, it can be incredibly fragile when the populace gets compromised, acts emotionally, or falls under the sway of "cultural heroin" to use JD Vance's term for what Trump offers. So her point is excellent: Democracy is both the most beautiful form of political organization in the world when it is strong and the people are informed, but it is one of the most vulnerable social systems when people are not informed or active or fighting for it. Her point is simple; democracy is only as strong as we make it and if we slack on our responsibilities it will become extremely vulnerable to fools like Trump taking power.
Why are we fighting? WHO are we fighting, and are we all separate groups fighting all the other labeled groups or ARE WE ONE American people? Are we all human on the planet? Are our bodies made of the same substance? Are our souls exactly the same in that they are either in darkness or the light of our self same virtues
