Hi Mikeno ! I love your natural style, not always sure of what you are about to do but yet..quite competent ! I also work on cameras and watches as I love precision. Thanks for your videos.
I can’t thank you enough, I have a Yashicamat 124 that has also been dropped and with the same problem! I’ve tried to see what the problem was but didn’t have your insight so this makes a big difference, my screwdrivers will be in action tomorrow!
I don't know ow if you've covered them but a couple of repairs I failed at some years ago were. Stuck shutter on a praktica , the one where the mirror box and lens mount all come out together and it communicates with the body with 3 levers. And anything to with zenit cloth shutters. I have managed to patch light leaks in them. I got lucky with my Nikon 501 as the shutter blades got confused due to them closing on a tool. A adapted lens got stuck and I had to push something from behind the lens while holding the shutter on b , I was sweating on that one as that particular camera is important to me. Another nervous one was a mamior sekor SLR (my dad's)hard grease and an impact had affected the wind shutter and lock. He kept urging me to dig deeper to get it all working, I didn't want to damage it, I got it working, glad he pushed, he didn't live much longer after that . Now I have mirrorless most of my repairs are lens based. I still have a number of spares or repairs cameras bought very cheap, back when a helios on a EM was just starting to rise from the £5 it had been for years. I was collecting helioses before they were cool, wish I knew about the silver ones back then.

Thanks, and good luck with your work, remember to take picture during the disassembly, it's your backup.

Thanks Kenneth, great info and repair as always!
Thank you for your time and guidance 👍🏼
I have a question
Do you or somebody here know if the 124g works if the self-timer is broken?
Thanks!
Thank you for very useful video
Perfect, thank you...
