I don’t like my job,I don’t like working for other people,I want to be my own boss. so I stay there and endure because it’s motivation for me to get my ish together so I never ever ever have to seek approval to take a vacation again.
If you have any idea what you want to do as a side gig,you should just start as soon as possible.Start developing it after work, maybe just 1hr a day? I have a side gig and after 2-3 years it started matching my salary income.4th year now it is double my salary income but I’m still doing both. The best part?i don’t take anything attitude from my boss and I put him in his place when he needs to be checked.keep in mind,I’m also working 12-14 hrs a day 7 days a week. it isn’t easy but it’s worth it
Man I feel you. I asked a supervisor for vacation last year and he tried to ignore me? I asked him man to man one day.. "No one else is off..I have the time, what's the problem?" He didn't speak to me for 2 months..lol He is has left company..but I am determined to not have to work for anyone else.. I will keep getting real estate and hopefully soon ..i will tell them to kiss..anyway you know what i mean..lol Good luck!!!
This resonated with me on sooo many levels from the humble beginnings, working since 14, living with other individuals to help my single mom raise me, the Y2K scare because I graduated in 2000 and we thought our lives were ending, student loan debt, I didn’t finish in four years however but you wouldn’t believe I have about 3 semesters and I finally want a degree in applied communications with a minor in BNIS (her major), divorced and single parent of one and I got totally serious about fire in 2016. Whew what a journey!
Humble beginnings always shape our life. God is definitely. I wish people acknowledge God in their journey! to me, this is nothing but God. He was with her since she was a kid and she was well-grounded woman.
I have concluded that I need to start a business. I feel like my 401K will ensure that I at least don't starve to death, and that's only if something doesnt happen to drain the money faster. I need to do more.
