My great Grandpa wrote this song. When String Bean came to visit him and his family then String Bean learned it. After that, he took it to Bill Monroe, and Bill recorded it. It's so wonderful to see that so many people, and such talented people as Sarah are playing things that a small town Kentucky musician wrote :)
Taste is hard to explain at time but I've seen many people do this and blows away everything I've seen. This updating of songs is the transfusion which keeps bluegrass alive.
I didn't process just how old this is until I saw Sarah's Myspace link...

They've got soul. That's all I'm looking for. Great job!
These are my favorite people ever. Keep up the great work, gang.
Wow, this is so cool. I've been loving bluegrass for forty years already.

And finally, thanks ab, all your work is superior but this is my favorite! If I ever get half this good I'll die happy.
Is that Dr. Greg from Crooked Still bouncing around on the banjo? Excellent video and wonderful performance, THANKS
Plus Greg and Sarah are a perfect match, musically!
Great Stuff
That other fiddle players face when Alex started
And....I think Bill would've THOUGHT "At least no dobro!" (Not that there's anything wrong with it!)
