It's quite awesome to see someone doing a playthrough of this game. Having played it for a while, I find it quite fun and challenging. Decidely I have decided to do a buster-only run (having played enough I at least know how to deal with some bosses and enemies ^^) Good video! :)
It is indeed a challenging game, with levels being pretty long and whatnot. As for buster only, I have tried that. It definitely gets difficult at some boss fights and fortress stages. And thanks for the comment, I appreciate the feedback! :)
And I appreciate a challenge for sure. I think the toughest buster only robot master fight is Storm Man, because of the awkward pattern in which it moves across the screen (and the fact that it hurts a LOT). You're welcome! :) Oh yeah, the final stage of Dr. Remir is up finally. :D
To be fair it's one of the more popular fan games. I think it's decent but Rock Force and Super Fighting Robot are much better. I dislike Unlimited and how overrated it is though.
@@darkkyosukecrono I played Unlimited again near the start of this year and honestly its overrated but still a good fan game. Rock Force and SFR are superior imo but Unlimited is probably the 3rd best.
Yeah I reread my comment and got confused DX Yeah I agree about the Remir machine. First form does a lot of damage quickly, I guess that's what the goodies from Remir 3 were for. ^^; Ah ha... yep. The last stage is really interesting. The final battle is quite fun in my opinion... I'm glad that this game had a decent story and for once the final boss wasn't wily.
Yeah I've found that Pyre Man is easier with Mega Man, as its easier to dodge by sliding. And apparently Pyre Man reacts to the amount of shots you fire so that's interesting... Bass has a harder time simply because he cannot slide ^^; I think Cryo Man with Bass, it comes down to how quickly you can take him down. And Remir 5 was easy, just a short stage. Remir himself.... took a few tries to discover how to defeat the first form. And Remir 6... its an interesting stage. You'll see what I mean.
Yeah, the Storm Chaser is super random, and the Cloud Bullies are dangerous enough. I personally find Pyre Man fairly difficult buster only, especially with Bass. Not really found Bass is all too great for bosses, I don't think he can even kill Cryo Man before the ceiling comes down. I've been playing that myself for a while. Remir 5 has an easy stage, and a difficult boss, and Remir 6 is the polar opposite. Methinks I'll have to pull off some daring jumps with Wild Sprint...
Huh... didn't know that about Pyre Man. Sounds interesting. :o Remir 5 (4? I'm getting confused) was an odd case for me. The stage was easy. The Remir Machine was nasty... that first form is really cheap at times. Second form, not so bad, pitiful with the weakness. Third, pretty easy anyway. And that last stage... so many "gotcha" moments there. A lot of planning is going to be needed. And huzzah, someone explained evil energy. :O It only took about 16 years.
i'm honestly not really sure why, i could've sworn it used to work in an older version of the game but now it defaults to the stick and doesn't even recognise the dpad. depending on what gamepad software you use you might be able to swap the dpad and stick inputs (this is at least an option if you're using an 8bitDo controller) but apart from that i'm not sure what else works.
I'm running 7.0. Anyone know how to use a controller with this? I am using SNES controller and not even the joytokey program is working. Anyone know a work around?
If I remember right, the way I got it to work was setting the control options in the game to keyboard, but using JoyToKey. Though it could just be a more recent version you're using where the game doesn't recognise JoyToKey anymore. :S
Thanks for the reply. That is exactly what I am doing. I do it for other mega man games. I got my joytokey on and minimized with keyboard selected. It wont even let me change it to controller. is there a newer version than 7.0?

Just downloaded and beat this. Pretty good fan game. Ironically a decent story compared to most games.
Return of the "Mega Arm" from Mega Man V for the gameboy.
It took a while for me to realize that Cryo man had one eye

More like Legs the boss fight.
Plus the alien boss fight is boring in the OG

Sorry for the late response but....why can't I map the movement to the D-Pad instead of the left stick?

gotrek44 That is strange. :S I'm not sure what else you can do besides ask on the sprites inc forums.
Thanks again. I figured it out. I had to run both programs as administrator. If anyone else has this problem,, now you know.
Just started making a game like mega man
It would be nice if you guys could spread the word and come check out the trailer
