Should've prefaced by saying that you need to FIRST have it set to the lock code (in this case, set to the factory default '000'). THEN you can reset it by using pointy object (in this case a pen).

If you have forgotten your code, you will have to go through each combination until it unlocks, starting at 000, 001, 002 etc. Once unlocked, you are able to reset the code. If the case does not open after you've tried every code, then we would recommend taking it to a repair agent to have a look at.
