- Today I asked the Senate to support my COVID-19 Vaccination Status (Prevention of Discrimination) Bill 2022.
This bill would have protected Australians from discrimination based on COVID-19 vaccination status across Australia, including in employment, education, accommodation, and services.
It would have applied to the Commonwealth, States, Territories, and non-government entities, ensuring individuals are not unfairly treated due to their vaccination status.
It would have protected free movement within and between States and given parents greater power to protect their children from vaccination coercion.
This bill would have upheld Australians' rights and freedoms against government overreach and abuse.
I would like to thank the Coalition and Senator Babet for their support, but unfortunately, the legislation was voted down by Labor and the Greens, with assistance from key crossbenchers who chose to abstain from the vote.
Senators Lambie, Tyrell, Pocock, Van, Thorpe, and Payman were all absent from the chamber, allowing Labor and the Greens the numbers to defeat this vital legislation.
To add insult to injury, Labor used their speaking time to insult Australians who support my legislation as fringe conspiracy theorists.
How shameful.

I lost my job with a Queensland department as I would not go along with this discriminatory mandate and the blackmail. It is too upsetting to think about this all. I'm very grateful to Pauline and her team for standing her ground in this ideological war of truth.

The then Government stood by while the rights of Australians were forcibly removed under the COERCION of unemployment, and movement restrictions. My no. 1 issue is medical freedom. I will never vote for LNP, Labor or Greens again!
The trouble with our preferential system is that ultimately you have to vote for Labor or Liberal.
@@ronferguson4379 Actually it's a preferential system for the top two candidates (which unfortunately tend to be the most well known - i.e. Liberal and Labor). However, it is in fact, the top two candidates with the most number 1 votes on the first count. These two candidates are then separated. All the other candidates votes are then given to these two people, based on where they are - on all the other ballots - COMPARED to each other! So the 'preference' system ends up merely a ranking system for the top two candidates.
Once people understand the 2 Party Preferred System, they must put the person they LEAST want, LAST in their preferences. This is the ONLY way to GUARANTEE your vote doesn't go to a someone you don't want in. It's an easy way to get rid of an incumbent. Pity no-one knows about it... It would mean putting the power back in the hands of the people.

Then they separate the top two candidates and the remaining ballots (the compeditors to those two people) are distributed between these two people. It is based on who had the lowest 'preference' on each of the remaining ballots. Quick, simple and everybody is completely ignorant of it.

I live (and lived) in the regions during the pandemic and I have seen less pressure put on murder suspects in interrogations by police detectives than was put on me to have the jab. I refused despite being asked four times over 18 months and each time stating that I would never have it under any circumstances. The same person "asked" each time though "asked" is not really the word I would prefer to use.

So the Senate blocks a bill that would have given fair recompense to those who refused to partake of what has been proven to be an unprotective measure, if not outright poison. The Senate needs to be dissolved and re-staffed with human beings!

I would have lost my job if I didn’t get a jab .
Not "forced" but basically you lost your job and couldn't eat out or see loved ones basically losing your whole lively hood and outcast from society at that time. If you don't think that's some sort of force then maybe you need to grow a pair.... Of brain cells.
