Coming from being a faithful RCCL cruiser since 1997, we’ll be switching over to NCL for the first time sailing to the Mexican Riviera on 11/12/23. I’m hoping it’s as much fun as Royal Caribbean. 👍🏽
What a great introduction on the Bliss. My wife and I are scheduled to depart on the Bliss this weekend for Alaska. This will be our first time on a ship this large and it appears the ship in-it-self will be part of the excitement as we figure out where to go and what to see. We have several excursions scheduled so this will be quite a trip. Cheers.
@@cockiecat4440 The ship experience was great. The casino, shops and the specialty restaurants were all first class. As for as eating goes, the buffet is really impressive with so many different station serving specialty foods. If yo ever find yourself hungry while on-board, it's your fault. The only negative to share js the off-the-ship excursions were not that good. The worst was the panning for gold. Don't do it. All they do is take you to a creek (that has been picked over and over by other tourist over the years). A great waste of time. -- total rip-off. While on the ship, you will see a lot during the cruise; eagles, whales, icebergs and even glaciers calving into the ocean. There are also shows/activities happening in the foyer and theater you should stop in and see (most, if not all are free). All in all, you will have a great time! Cheers.
Hi Tyler, thank you for the video. We normally do Royal Caribbean cruises but were thinking of taking the Bliss to Alaska next summer. I have seen conflicting reports as to if the pools are heated on the ship. Do you know/remember? Thank you.
I have this cruise booked for late 2023 and was looking at some of the excursions...Someone of them say they require a passport..I'm traveling without a passport as I don't have one yet and didn't think I needed one considering Alaska is USA and I'm American. Confusing, and not all excursions stated passport required.
