WHY I OFTEN DON'T MENTION OTHER BRANDS IN MY VIDEOS.
You may have noticed that I often don't mention the original brands that watches I am reviewing pay homage to. This is very intentional and not meant to offend you or the original brands. I lost my first channel in October 2020 which I had spent 9 months growing and invested a significant amount of money in simply because I had mentioned the original brands in some of my videos. There are people who try to use RUclipss lack of understanding when it comes to the difference between homage watches and fake watches to attack other channels and their owners and sadly I fell foul of this in 2020. This channel was also attacked recently and RUclips deleted content simply because I had said 'subby homage' and 'Rolex homage' in two videos despite the watches in the videos being perfectly legal homage watches. Please understand that I can not afford to risk my channel so I will no longer be mentioning other brands when reviewing homage watches.

Nice! Now with a quartz. To my knowledge these 1921 cases from Baltany have some kind of hardening coating taking the case hardness up to 500 HV, maybe another reason why the caseback isn't already covered in scratches? The blued seconds hand hits the markers, the dial has a suble striation, nice! As you say, what Baltany do, they to right!! I guess I would perhaps try to wear it under my wrist and after three minutes I would say "no!" So above the wrist it would be!!

I have always worn my watches under my wrist, so no problem with one actually designed to be worn that way :)
I wanted to get the automatic version because I really liked the dial on that one, until I noticed the subdial markings. The automatic has every 10 seconds labeled on the subdial, which is fine, but they didn't rotate it like they did the hour markers, so "60" is at the top, while "10" is in line with the 12 hour marker.

id wear it as it was meant, as its a more natural arm movement to tell the time, you just rotate it
I think quartz watches qre amazing, even quartz movements have qualities. A good quartz watch in a great watch would be amazing ❤
I don't mind quartz now, that Seiko has the mecha quartz movements, if the leather looks like cracking, slap some dubbin on it to help soften it.
i remember being one of the firsts to get the second iteration of these with the blued sub seconds. still no gold case but these are so cool i'm glad to see them expand with different designs using the same case. i wear mine normally

Quartz is perfect for a daily. Small seconds "hides" the ticking. That's a winner, eventhough I wouldn't buy something dressy like this one.
Beautiful dials and hands. I like my manual wind one. Also slim design.
I'm trying to find a way to blue the hour and minute hands.
I was trying to think of occupations where wearing this on the underside of the wrist would be an advantage, maybe something where you're holding a tablet or clipboard in one hand
Good review. I bought the 9039 centre seconds version which is great. I always wear it inside my wrist, that way the alignment is perfect and it just seems right. I tried it the usual way, but then the alignment makes it very difficult to tell the time at a glance.

I would definitely try wearing under my wrist as originally intended, how long that would last however is another matter. Baltany have made a watch that's different enough to make it interesting and I like that

Definitely gonna pick up the white dial. I use the baltany quartz 1926 a lot, probably gonna use this 1921 historique on weekends.
Im new to this brand and prefer automatic movements. Any similar styles from baltany in auto to suggest ?

Does anyone know if this quartz version has a screw down crown? The white (silver?) Dial version should have all three hands blued, imo. I will get the black dial version though.

The lugs seem to have mini crowns on the strap fixings - are they non standard pins?
Lot to like - unusual dial orientation. moving the crown, nicely integrated sub dial without butchering any numerals, thinner thanks to quartz. I think the light dial model would be really improved by having blued hour n minute hands

I own many, many AliExpress brands but Baltany is not one of them. They just haven't made anything yet I've been interested in. This isn't my style of watch. They seem nice enough though.

I have no idea why you keep showing on my feeds; Be truthful, these ali express watches that you are always pushing is misleading and will hurt up and coming collectors. By the time you wake up one morning with a box full of ali express watches, it will be depression and a realisation of money down the drain. You are a very intelligent guy and I know you know better than to encourage the up and comers to buy this stuff. These are just about the only watches I see you talking about

@@SheshankReddyS I have been collecting for a while and I have made nasty mistakes that lost me a ton of money. So, say and do what you will. It is not my money being wasted.
So buying beautiful watches with great specs and movements that are 4 times more affordable than popular brands with worse specs is somehow a bad move? Explain that logic.
Buy stuff for yourself, not for others. If I need specific material goods to have someone's validation I don't want it.
