While listening to what you were saying starting around 8:30, I was reflecting on my own past. I wasn't acting like these young women in the clip, but I'd have sex in the early stages of getting to know someone. And honestly, it wasn't because I wanted to (in my heart, I didn't want to), but I thought that's just how things went. Looking back, I understand why those situations didn't result in an actual commitment. Regardless of my character, I presented myself in a manner that was indistinguishable from a promiscuous woman. And even though they'd say I was a good woman because they eventually got to see who I truly was, that didn't matter. To them, I didn't value and honor myself, and if I couldn't do that, what good would I have been to them? Keep these conversations up. You don't know how much they are needed!

I wasn't acting like these young women in the clip, but I'd have sex in the early stages of getting to know someone. And honestly, it wasn't because I wanted to (in my heart, I didn't want to), but I thought that's just how things went. Looking back, I understand why those situations didn't result in an actual commitment. Regardless of my character, I presented myself in a manner that was indistinguishable from a promiscuous woman. And even though they'd say I was a good woman because they eventually got to see who I truly was, that didn't matter. To them, I didn't value and honor myself, and if I couldn't do that, what good would I have been to them?

I'm a surviver been out for about 4 years now. You have good points. Add this to it, the abuser will tell others that you are the crazy one, that you are the aggressive one. Most abusers have a great outside persona where they are liked and loved in the community because they always try to help out etc. but are devils behind closed doors. So by him telling that she's the crazy one people tend to believe him, also the one that's getting abused is most likely not seen in public much.
Then you said that women need to tell and don't keep silent. That's true, but society loves to victim shaming so most tend to not say anything.
