Alaska Spring Steelhead Fishing 2022

Dylan and I decided to make a spring Steelhead fishing trip this year to kick off the Alaska fishing season. It had been a long winter, so we were excited to get our lines wet, and hopefully catch a few fish in the process. We headed to Southeast Alaska to hunt for some steelhead.

Sight fishing for steelhead on there spawning beds.... can't imagine why anyone would call you out on that on the Situk...

Steelhead are very aggressive on Redds that doesnt mean its ok to fish for them... Let them spawn go fish for fresh or gtfo@@alaskafishhunters
