Thanks =)
Nice knot. But what is it used for?
Thanks for taking the time to view and also make a comment, very much appreciated. The bowline is used to create a non slip noose at the end of a rope. It has many uses such as, the first knot used when rigging a ridge line, or could also be used as a temporary soft eye at the end of a rope, to name but a few. Once you know how to tie the bowline, it will serve you well in many situation.
So Under, then Over, then Under again and tighten.

People just need to know the HOLE you make... winds up being the KNOT... not the new hook hole whatever you wanna call it...

Hi
Subtitles maybe?
My bowline is rigid and just creates a knot with a loop
Is that because you are using a harder lay rope or do you mean something different?
