YAMAHA MT09 SP 2021 Holiday Update + Festive Quiz! | MT09 SP Onboard

Join me for a quick festive update riding the 2021 Yamaha MT09 SP. Also, as it’s almost the holidays, I’ve thrown in a quick festive movie quiz to get you thinking!
Despite the cold, I am still riding the Yamaha MT09 SP deep into December. As soon as it starts getting icy I’ll put it on the paddock stands in the garage, but it’s been nice riding in the crisp winter sunshine. I’ve had to adjust my riding a little to cope with the wet and salty roads. Mainly, using Power Mode 4 (the weakest power mode on the bike) which really has a huge effect on power delivery. It’s like, worlds apart from Modes 1, 2 and 3!

I have the oem heated grips fitted to my 09sp, it was essential for me as I get cold hands, they work well & are controlled via the instrument display. Also just fitted an mra screen to my bike to provide a bit of wind protection. Thank you for your content & have a great new year!

Great vid as always Eddie, had the oem heated grips installed on my mt09sp a few weeks back, little pricey but integrates nicely with the switch gear and display. Oh, and they are really good too, definitely recommend them, game changer!

I hope I will move to Liverpool next year. I live in Turkey right now. And I can't live without motorcycle. My only concern is weather 😄. Is it too bad? When I see your videos I am feeling better. I hope we will ride together. Happy Christmas

The weather is okay here! It can be wet with rain, but you can almost ride all year round :)
