    This is the second time this month that Adorama has posted a video that's relevant to a shoot that I have coming up. Last time it was a tutorial on color gels that I was able to use with a client, and this weekend I have a couples shoot where I'm definitely going to try this out! Thanks!!

    Wow I never ever thought ........ I'm doing a lighting module in a Certificate course so I'm doing my own researching. This is an eye opener for me. Thank you so much. I never thought I'd be interested in using lighting but I'm finding it so interesting. You have an amazing voice too by the way, very easy to listen to. Just followed you on instagram.

    6:00 That's where I'll put the Magnum reflector on my Profoto B1. Sometimes just have to play with the reflector zoom spread to match the field of view.

    If you dont shoot in HSS, you'll get alot more power out of flash. Lower shutter speed down to flash sync speed, then pop on ND filter on lens if you want to keep same aperture and iso.

    Hi Pye, a great instructional video! Awesome. Would you mind giving me a tip on buying a suitable flash for getting this effect please? What would you suggest 2 x AD200 or 1 x AD400 or 1 x AD600? Cheers and I look forward to more of your videos.

    Can i use a Speed light or would it be too weak?

    • @payamjirsa
      @payamjirsa 2 года назад

      Depends, if it's a bit darker, yes. But it's a bit tough getting enough power. Speedlight works during dusk though for this effect.
