OMG it sounds terrific, clear and articulated in every settings and that adaptive circuit seems an amazing feature, I need two of those pedals to stack together 😄
I love my Cornerstone Antique V2, but I am hella tempted to give this a try. Am heading down to Andertons tomorrow to pick up my Aquarium and a Protein Carbon, so might see if they have one of these to try out while I'm there!!
been doing this music thing for 40 + years and have never had a green pedal on my board,i've got the Mag 57 and Revival Trem which i love, not convinced about the Halcyon.
It's 20+ years for me and this is the first green pedal that made it to my board. I had one in the past because I wanted to be Stevie Ray Vaughan. But when I found out I wasn't Stevie Ray Vaughan and accepted it didn't work for me I let it go.
I wonder if there is a bias against tube screamers because of the popularity which in itself speaks that if there is a vocal bias, there sure isn’t a use bias.
Hallo😎 out of topic, But I want to ask about your backingtracks. Always sounds great, inspiring... Are you creating them yourself? They sounds like proper studio recordings... Thanks 😉
I create some myself, you can find those on my Patreon page. In this case it's a track from a website called Artlist which provides songs for video production :)
I prefer the Halcyon. Go with Antique if you want a shapeable mid hump, go with Soloist if you want a screaming TS, go with Halcyon if you want something less traditional
The problem is you’re playing dynamics are too good. All the fear you demo sound the same, really good. But that’s because of your hands. Need to hear an average player play this pedal
@@SashaIvantic You should. But I really do have no idea what the pedal sounds like now :D But you’re excited about it, so I am too. I usually buy my pedals after having seen you play them.
For someone like me who doesn’t really like Tubescreamers, this is one of those pedals that can sometimes sound too honky in isolation. And then you hear it in a mix and it’s fabulous. I have this and the DCX, and prefer the latter on paper and often in practise; but for gigging purposes, the Halcyon is really starting to earn its keep. I stack into a Shanks ODS (same with the DCX) and have the settings in the least TS-ish modes. Origin has a knack for flattering players who use their volume and tone controls (I only found mine a few years ago - who knew what they did?!) and play dynamically. I would definitely like to see an OE Bluesbreaker, please guys.

you know you're doing something right when as soon as I click play, I immediately click the like button.
One of the best edge of breakup pedals I've heard. Nice work Origin. Nice playing too, btw.
You’re a monster player, brother. Thanks for sharing your talent and honest reviews with us.
Thanks a lot man, that means a lot to me ❤️
I could listen to this intro jam all day. Really good stuff
Nice playing. Thanks for the demo. I think I need one. 😉
Sweet intro! This pedal is on my list, Origin Effects just makes killer stuff.
That guitar is to die for.
Great demo!!! I have never liked TS pedals, but I feel like you converted me with this one. 🤘🤘
Same for me, Cornerstone Antique was the first TS I liked. This is the first one that made it on my board.
Thanks for checking it out dude.
You've got some popeye level thick tones, someones clearly been eating their Halcyon Greens recently.
My absolute pleasure! 😘
That was awesome, didn’t think I’d like another TS but there it is
Seymour Duncan 805
Would love to hear how it sound stacked with the revivaldrive. (If possible) love your playing as Always.
Thanks man! I don’t have the Revivaldrive but if I get my hands on one I’ll give it a go!
Ditto but I gather you didn’t own everything you review. But you do a great job! And that guitar!!! And your playing. Super cool to watch!
@@joetoe9207 thanks a lot man!
Wow it sounds really good with the P90s. Not sure if I liked the strat so much but I'm sure a few twist of the knobs and that could be fixed up.

@@SashaIvantic Haha. I've been plenty of times and never seen Captain Lee, let alone Pete!!

Goddamn it, Sasha: now I have to add this to my ‘shortlist’ too!
Great tone Sasha
Wow. So amazing playing. ❤ I want to have your backing tracks 😊
I so want this pedal.
tasty playing and very nice tone from those p90s
I’ve also watched your demo of The KingTone Soloist. How does this compare to that as a TS type pedal? Great playing!! 🤟🤟
That shotmaker amp sounds amazing. Still isn't at my house yet though which is weird 😂😂

Hey Sasha! I’m always interested to hear peoples views, but have you got a preference between the Halcyon and Cornerstone Antique V2?
Ik ben helemaal wild van de P90’s in die Panucci. Waanzinnig!
Hi. Is this pedal similar to the original Tube Screamer TS 808 or the TS 9? Thanks

Hello, what do you prefer between the soloist, the antique and the halcyon, the choice is difficult for me ?

Clapton called. He wanted his 90's phrasing back.
Talk about compliments
