It brings tears to my eyes..to see a 30's 40's or 50's Vehicle, being saved and restored !
The truck was probably red when she started her life, and the seat looked to have been red too. It's good that the seat frame is still in it so if the owner wants it restored he can have it reupholstered again. Clay and the crew did aj amazing job popping out those dents, fixing the rot in the door and getting her back to life again!
I think this yellow cabinet is worth restoring :)
Great to see this patina truck being revived.
You guys are without a doubt. Awesome big super fan of your channel. Keep making more videos. Thanks.
Great job. Good price. I'd buy it if I were closer. I suspect it's already been sold. Nice to watch something you buy being built up to road standards.
Never seen anybody do body work with a 2lb shop hammer before!!!
Awesome work on the truck ,looks great..
Their digging them up again ! I'm seeing guys..repair oldies, everywhere , once again !
Great job guys!
It's great to live in a country.. where people throw away cars like that.. and there are no drug addicts or scrap dealers
. Luckily, the chair frame is still intact, so if the homeowner wants to restore it, they can reupholster it. You guys did a great job removing those dents, repairing the rot on the doors, and bringing the car back to life!
Are you planning to repaint it or just leave it as is, thank you for sharing
Good Job
Nice job clay man you need a mic hard to hear you most of the time again great job on that truck
We were having issue with the case that the mic plugs into over heating the camera during this particular video. Plus all the added background noise I can understand. We have since fixed the problem
I had one that looked just like yours. Mine was even the same color blue. I put a small block in it with a 4spd. What a great truck. I sure missit.
Very cool
I have to agree Clay gets it done, but the older gentleman has the knowledge.
Looks like they even got a little labor out of "The Mullet"
That’s Dr. producer mullet to you- the mullet 😂😂
@@Ironcitygarage Yea, I had him pegged as the camera/tech guy. Shit... if he'd seen my mullet back in the 80's ... well never mind.
Your prices are nuts, but if someone is stupid enough to pay those high prices for that junk you might as well take it and laugh all the way to the bank. These young guys today are dumb.
Do you know what that truck is worth? I do. It's worth whatever someone else is willing to pay for it. That's the free market and it's the only reason human beings aren't still living in caves, wiping their asses with dried moss.
Good job clay!!
Clay rules!
Great job Clay! Thats how i would have done it!!
Yes, car of farm=food. 👍
We have a beautiful red chevrolet 3100 in our yard/field rusting away, good thing is that the engine still starts but the bad thing is that the rear axle is split I want to rebuild it but the worse part is I'm 14.
Gotta start somewhere! Get some tools and start watching videos on how to fix it
Great job now somebody else can finish it up❤❤❤
The ole farmer who had that truck must have liked his corn whiskey lol that poor truck don't have a straight panel on it lol
Man, Clay can get the job done, right?
Those with an acid vat ,
will save the most $$
for restorations !!
Should be a 216 babbit engine, ( stovebolt engine)

8500! Your kidding right?!!!!
No we work on cars I’m not a comedian.
It just sold for $8,500 headed over seas to Austraila
You need to wise up to 2023 pricing.
I would sell it for 18k if someone paid it😂. You cant get mad at em for pricing when they know its gonna sell. Its the buyers fault if anyone.
Why did you scab a good door part onto a rotted door ???
Did you miss the part where we cut the rot away and weld the two solid parts together?
Why didn’t you just replace the whole door…
Then it wouldn’t match. Can’t have that nice patina truck and a random mismatched door. Kills the value
What you are doing is stretching the metal to where the next guy will have to cut it out to repair it, I would rather have it before the shade tree body work with black smith tools!!!! You are just causing someone more work down the road!!!!
I missed the part in the video where Clay was asking if anyone had advice about doing bodywork on old trucks - he seems like he knows what he's doing to me. Don't get all wound up over nothing - real life is aggravating enough without actively looking for shit that makes you angry. Who cares? If ICG is so wrong, you should start a youtube channel to show us all how it should be done. Get after it!
$8500. For a $800 truck I would like to meet the person that buys this truck, I got a few trucks I would like to sell him!!!!!!
Don't make sins tour apart a good dore to repair a junk one
