      Well, there's also the fact that Father is the only one in the audience of adults with the power that maybe possibly potentially could have beaten Grandfather, or at least countered him. EVERYONE wanted to see the showdown between Father and Grandfather at the end.
      But anyway, like all abusive parents, Grandfather stopped being PHYSICALLY abusive (i.e. didn't turn Father into a citizombie) the moment his child had grown big and strong enough to have decent shot at seriously hurting him back. Grandfather kept up the verbal abuse though, which is ALSO like all abusive parents.

      @@king_of_imagination5336More like they were bitter as hell that the KND turned on them once they reached 13 and wanted to decommission them. The evil adults either escaped decommissioning or they subconsciously remember that their childhood memories were stolen from them by the KND and it's why they hate kids.

    Neil Ross really nailed it with his performance as Grandfather. He may have voiced villains in his career, but I don't think anybody were as villainous as Grandfather.

      @@jamesstewart5706 Thanks, all. The nitpicker in me compels me to edit my above statement. It is usually in Lovecraft-derived works that the summoner meets an immediate bad end. In actual Lovecraft or works written by his authorized peers and literary heirs, the summoner can do quite well - for a time, but eventually pay a heavy price, and more so their descendants.

    This film was so dark from Grandfather pretty much all most destroying the KND, turning the adults and kids into zombies. Then there was the scene when the delightful kids turn back into Sector Z and you realise that when Father transformed them he stole kids from their families. Their parents will never know what happened to their kids.

    If Nigel's dad awakens his true power as the true father after his son or family gets heavily injured or passes away, the Grandfather would be proud of his elder son's power and strength as the better anti-villain, no negative encouragement, just forecast what if something different happened.

    Grandfather was probably the most dangerous villain the KND has ever faced. Heck, not even all the other villains could stop him. I think Father can, but we all know how that turned out. 🙄

    With what grandfather said to father about not being able to defeat the knd. well, let's be honest, how many times has he come close? He's come close to committing canabilism and murder at the same time with the delightful childrens cake in one episode, Changed all of them into various animals with his re-wired/reprogrammed age-ification machine. And, those are only just a few of them.

    I know it's a cartoon but question:
    1) How did Grandfather manage to zombify everyone in restricted countries like North Korea, North Sentinel Island, and Somalia?
    2) What were the police doing during all of this?
    3) If hamsters were zombified, I wonder how they were able to zombify crocodiles, lions, and rhinos without getting killed
    4) Was school cancelled?
    5) Was Billy and Mandy zombiefied too? If so, Grim should have stepped in

      Maybe during the events of Operation Zero. Billy and Mandy were having their own adventure in the underworld. They do sometimes go there. Grandfather's power can reach the entire planet. But I doubt it could reach another dimension like the underworld entirely. So they'd be spared because they're simply were not on Earth.

    Honestly he was the best villain and I love how they held out to introduce him in the movie. Nigel’s family is just evil, first his uncle all the way up to his great grandmother. I wonder if Nigel would go bad one day.

    I feel the GKND fight grandfather level threats as a standard. Think about it, he's easily able to take over a planet, if within that planet there's no number 0 to oppose them then it would eventually become a GKND problem.

    Whoa... I haven't watched KND in a long time and the Operation Zero movie was epic and sad too! I also do feel really sorry for Father aka Ben since his own dad aka Grandfather was rude and mean to him, so I think Father aka Ben might just be a relatable bad guy.
    At least Grandfather was sorta grateful to his son before he rudely wanted him to leave and admitted that Ben's brother was a better son, despite him destroying Grandfather's powers in the first place.
    Man... Grandfather is the greater evil and the bigger bad than Father ever was!

    What confused me about earlier in this scene was Nigel not recognizing his grandfather before the transformation. Shouldn't he know his own grandfather? I doubt Monty doesn't visit him.

      To be fair, one thing that the movie repeatedly emphasized was that Grandfather lives rent-free in Father's head, and Father doesn't have the self-esteem needed to stand up to Grandfather's abuse, so it makes a lot of sense that, when the moment came, he couldn't stand up to him.

    Great-Grandfather is the father of Grandfather, gandfather of Father and Monty Uno (Numbuh 0) and great-grandfather of Nigel Uno (Numbuh 1).
    He is much more powerful and older than his son Grandfather and has his own army of Senior Citi-zombies, The Elderly Citi-zombies and was defeated by Numbuh 1's ancestor Numbuh 10,000.
