thanks mate! some people say that 1 pickup guitars have longer sustain since there is no second magnet dragging the string down, however i didn't notice anything due to the difference being so small (i feel like those people listen with either their eyes or their wallet). the main advantage i would point out is the simplicity - no switch and no tone knob...if you have such a simple guitar with one humbucker sound, it makes you spend more time actually playing instead of constantly switching between pickups and messing with the knobs. it's kind of awkward, because some people think you're gonna miss the neck position and the overall versatility, nevertheless, i'd say that the main advantage is sorta psychological - the more settings you have avalible, the more time you'll spend adjusting something to get a better tone instead of actually practising, this is kinda the opposite - you can just turn up the volume and forget it. anyway, i would highly recommend ltd, i love that guitar. cheers!
