- Gordo is officially back! Adam Lamberg is joining Hilary Duff in Disney+’s ‘Lizzie McGuire’ reboot, set to premiere next year.

Hilary Duff legit has the best acting career. She did the whole child star thing and seems to have survived it, she did movies, albums, became a mom and now is on two really cool shows. If I was an actor, I'd want her career for sure.

Well, the show is about Lizzie navigating her 30s and she has no kids. So I always felt like the show was meant for older audiences.

I will *never* get over the fact that we could've had this reboot... SO painful and it would've been truly amazing to see if Gordo & Lizzie officially got together romantically as adults (since the pilot episode was that Lizzie is engaged to someone else but then "something" happens and she finds herself in a predicament - maybe her fiance cheated, etc idk and we'll never know now lol)
I wish they could release the scripts or something, just so we can see what they had in mind for it. I know they won't in case they ever decide to try it again but still. I wanna know!!! 😂

@@linaazmiin7479 it's not. Hillary Duff didn't like what they were doing with the script and character so she backed out. If she can't do the series right, she doesn't want to do it at all. I love that about her. I appreciate that she cares so much.

@@VWayyyyyyyy ... not being racist either, but it's often the opposite. due to genetics and some environmental factors, white people are prone to age faster in terms of appearance. not all ofc as it depends on the individual, but many poc tend to age a bit better (visually, anyhow).
Hilary actually looked a lot like her old self in the Gordo clip - she's got a few tweaks here and there, but she looks more like 'Lizzie' now than she has in previous years. in other media you can see she's aged but all things considered, she still looks good and has an aura of confidence. this is the one reboot I'm excited for ngl

We’ve all had yet guy friend you crossed the line with or thought about but some friendships are too powerful and meaningful to cross over into that lane.. and it shows men and women can just be friends platonically.. I’d prefer them all to marry different spouses she have their own kids and their kids wind up being friends..but mix it up have Miranda wind up with eathan like in that mirage episode or Larry.

This needs to happen they really need to bring this back as a new series not a reboot but a continue on. This needs to happen so upset that they cancelled the reproduction but hopefully Disney+ will listen to Hilary and do it right.

You know how whites can be, always worrying about race. *It’s actually racist what they did.* Any other ethnic race group that would have created, wrote, and produced the show would have changed the character to be a Filipino character and not just decide to select LaLaine to play Miranda Sanchez and keep her as a Mexican American because she looks close enough or to appease the Mexican American viewers, one of the larger growing ethnic groups in the country. Only whites would do this. *They could have simply just rewrote the details of the character to fit the girl they liked in the audition.*

Nah she wouldn't be engaged to Ethan, in the movie they paid no attention to each other romantically, it was all about gordo. I'd hope it's still gonna lead to gordo in this, they probably moved apart for college or careers and find eachother again and she'll have to make a choice about her engagement or something etc. Probably one of my most anticipated shows to return though, can't wait!
