Yay for me having something to look forward to on Tuesdays! Totally understandable that you need to take breaks between the episodes though. I definitely prefer you taking care of yourself than this taking too much of an emotional toll.
I love all of Flanagan's work but his 3 Netflix shows are my absolute favorites. So excited you are doing this one and really can't wait for Midnight Mass.
I didn’t realize until you mentioned it in your opening remarks that this show is based of the same story on which that Finn Wolfhard movie was based. Very interesting…
Dude, we are definitely more than fine with one episode per week, it’s free content. We are just glad that you’re back on the Flanagan train of hurt and pain, and jump scares but mostly just hurt and pain 😭
"Right into Midnight Mass," he said. I made sure to check before watching your Hill House or Bly reactions. You also don't have Midnight Club either. And there's a new show coming out on October 12th, too. It'll probably take you a while to actually catch up. Especially with all the other shows you're doing. Edit: Ah, yes, I thought I recognized Flora, too. Turns out she was the little girl who played Renesme in the Twilight films. The same Renesme that they poorly deaged onto a baby and... Well, everything in between, really. And the same Renesme that Jacob imprinted onto. Stephanie Meyer is one weird woman. There was no reason to make imprinting part of werewolf biology, and there was especially no reason to make him imprint on Renesme as a baby, even if she became an adult in like 2 weeks. Really weird. But yes, Flora is that same little girl. I think. Though it might actually be the older Flora, now that I think about it. I just know it's one of them.
@@Omn1Media I couldn't find either of the Midnight series. Are they on Patreon, or did I just miss the playlists? Edit: Nevermind, I missed the playlists.
Definitely different than Hill House. I like Hill House & Midnight Mass more, but that's like saying I like King Crab more than Snow Crab. Its all yummy lol
Hill House is by far my least favorite, but Midnight Mass is a masterpiece. Like damn, I can’t express how amazing it is. Bly Manor is also a masterpiece though, in some areas it’s even better than Midnight Mass to me.
it’s always interesting to hear how people order his shows from best to worst because I hear new answers every time! I think it really speaks to how he does something different every time and people are gonna vibe with different shows depending on who they are. For me Hill House and Midnight Mass are at the top
Bly Manor is such a good Gotic Horror Romance series.
Yes there are hidden ghosts. Also good catch with the dolls.
Fun Fact: The actress playing Flora (Amelie Bea Smith) is the voice of Peppa Pig.

Bly is my favorite from Flanagan and that's saying something. enjoy!

I really should finish watching this series!
I’ll watch along with you!
At 15:26 there is a ghost to the right of Dani in the background. Right before that when they show her talking to Miles it is not there.
Side note. The little girl playing Flora is the voice actress for Peppa pig
I'm so happy you're doing Bly Manor! 😍

I have both Midnight Mass and The Midnight Club reactions and The Fall of the House of Usher will out out as soon as it drops.

The British adaptations of Henry James "Turn of The Screw" are far more faithful to the novel
I’d say this is my least favourite out of Hill House, Bly Manor and Midnight Mass. But it’s still a great series. Mike Flanagan is awesome.
This is just below Hill House for me. I didn't enjoy Midnight Mass that much for various reasons, mostly the uneven pacing and the looong monologues.
