I would love to see a video on how your mind processes if an item is worth keeping to sell or if it is only vendorable. This is something myself and countless others always have issues with. Along the same lines what a decent pricing structure is for certain pieces of armor with stat a,b,c would be really great to see. The minimum ilvl of a glorius plate is ilvl68, so indeed. ;) The listed ilvl refers to that; when the base white drops. As long as the base white is fine the unique can roll.
It's a bit hidden. Pick up the item on your cursor and type /itemlevel in the chat and press enter. Ilvl controls the ranges of mods that can roll on an item and the amount of sockets it can have. You can have an ilvl50 rustic sash, for example, even though they can be found from level 1.

Some people will scour and chance the Glorious plate over and over to try to get a kaom's. I generally just chance items when I find a white one. Previous rolls don't affect future rolls! Each time you use a chance is completely independent.
The demigod's uniques are only available as rewards from the races! The Triumph is this season for #1 of a class in any race and the Demigod's presence (amulet) was only available for racing in the closed beta!
Most uniques just need the base item level but there are a few nowadays that need a higher ilvl. Everything on that list just needs what's listed for the base item.

Yeah both are worth it as you will use blue/rare maps anyway so it's not as bad a loss. That is unless you prefer to save the Chance Orbs for Glorious Plates... ;)
In four days I have chanced one Bringer of Rain, One Lioneye's Glare and one Kongor's Undying Rage. The last was from a 5L whiteTerror Maul that I bought to alt-regal, but since I was going to make it blue anyway, I thought what the hell, I'll chance it. And blam-there it was, 5L Kongors. Thx for the tips!! (I should probably mention that I buy chance orbs for about 5 chaos a day)

I thought with the 3 gems you were also going to show the onyx recipe for true gamblers. If you get a bad magic onyx, you can vendor with RGB gems (preferably +20 stats) to get a new white onyx.

1 in 500 chance!? Just convert 500 chance orbs to fuses, sell them and buy two or three of the unique you were after. Even if you were lucky chancing those 500 orbs, you're luck is not going to roll 3 or more uniques, the odds just don't permit it.
hey Ziggy and folks, do you think it is still a good idea to just collect the normal bases of high value items (Kaoms, etc) or do you think it is just a waste and the chance orbs should be sold for easy money? ^^ peace boys and thanks for any anwser!
I think a 'chance orb crafting guide' is more compelling that a 'chance orb saving guide'... haha. "Put chance orbs in stash, trade for other currency or items later". This guide is aimed at those who prefer to gamble, you know, for fun. It is possible to make a profit from it if you are chancing the right things, but it is a gamble ;)
What if i were to find for example an occultist vestment and use armor scraps to upgrade it's quality to max 20% before using the orb of chance on it would that affect anything at all? Or is that even possible I don't know I'm new to this

Drop chances are random and GGG likes to keep the chance to get a unique via chance orbs a secret. They said 1 in 500 once but I think Soul Taker is lower odds than that.

hi , can i ask how it works with item level will orb of chance change itemlevel or it will be same as it dropped ? for example hmm hmm hmm lets say searing touch which is long staff = low item level to get them mostly and you want it atleast 50 to be able to 6l it ... you vae to find lonmg staff ilvl50+ to craft it or you can use lower ones and craft it with hight lvl char and chance will change its item level? thx
same stuff except there are more added like prophecy wand-->Void battery. Just use neversink loot filter or something and those will pop out so you can check them as they come.
You can vendor a full set of item level 1-59 items similar to the chaos orb recipe to get chance orbs but imo its not worth the effort. Just prorgess and buy chance orbs if you want to chance. Also, it's probably not worth chancing facebreakers - cheaper to just buy a pair.

We don't know the exact numbers but base chance is 1 in 500 and getting a rarer unique is said to be double that (1 in 1000 maybe)

What about using Chance Orbs on the Vaal Pyramid and Mountain Ledge maps, to try and get the unique maps? Worth it at all?

This Guide is outdated and the rates no longer apply, rates are now a lot worse for rare unique and a lot higher for "crappy" unique!
