Nelson is the definition of funk & groove!!!
Kid Boogie's hit is otherwordly. His body waving is insane! I think he took this one. Nelson's last round was art tho.
Kid Boogie should stick with this type of shoes. He looks much more stable and steady than with those Converse.
Kid boogie became the songs and his speed to it was on point!! Nelson is a good popper but it seemed only the first song he adapted too well and was just speed popping to the others.

Nelson musicality is at the highest level. He sometimes plays with music in way that you just don’t see people doing. And his hits and vibrations are second to none. He just has his own style that is not pop pop pop. Don’t get it twisted though, he can bang with the best of them.
Nelson's confidence was unshakable, you could see in the exchange of energy he took it comfortably
This is just proof that THE DANCE comes first. Technique is secondary. Dance, being free, using the space, looking up and connecting with the people, feeling the music, being spontaneous and not safe with how you move. This is so important. Technique comes next.
Poppers can work more at DANCING. It’s such a technical dance as it is, if we get too lost on the technique our legs become stiff, and stuck, our energy becomes inward, down and not projecting. Trust the dance. The rest is natural if you’re training properly. 🫡🙌

Pretty easy call there for Nelson. Kid boogie has a creativity problem. He has one of the hardest hits, some of the best waving, and amazing cobra and snaking. Very technically solid. But he just pops to the music. He just does the same bland tenchnical and powerful rounds with zero substance. Almost zero dancing. No groove. That's why Nelson won. Popping is a DANCE. Dance man.
What on earth are you talking about. All Kid Boogie did was dance. Unfortunately you need a lot of "beat kills" to win battles these days.
I am not a popper , I am a coupe social dancer(so obviously I am a poor judge of popping) but I enjoy watching popping and for me Nelson took that. He just felt like he was more dancing more and was more in-tune to the music than Kid Boogie. I wouldn't say that Kid Boogie was not dancing but yes what he was doing felt repetitive and on top of that he didn't look in tune with the music (he was on beat but I mean more matching the energy and feeling the song) at least compared to Nelson. He might have win the popping match but to me he definitely lost the dancing one.

Nelson got the first 2 rounds but the 3rd round kid boogie won that with a knock out!

Nelson sent him to school. Kid Boogie has always been average, never really stepped up him game for years.
Not one of Nelson's hit's were better than Kid Boogie.
