No VR can replace the experience of actually going to a park, at least not for the next few years, I think.
this is just an enhancement when being there
It’s funny I’ve this idea for years, where if one day of the transformers ride got tiring for many (it won’t obviously), to replace it with a ninja turtle ride, I had this cool idea to combine the screen and practical effects of that ride with vr/ar goggle technology, and now it’s become more and more possible (the goggle thing not the ride replacement)
I'm pretty excited to watch how technology advances in the next 10 years. It's going to be dope. Come on Oasis!! Lol

This was a great idea when Larry Niven proposed it in the novel Dream Park in 1981. However the software is still at least 20 years away.

I think the vision pro will eventually shrink to look like a pair of glasses and have batteries that last for many hours. Just like iPhones, it too will evolve from being bulky to be slim and light.
I am super excited about this concept! In time, it’ll be the norm. Also super interested in know where this goes for theme parks. 👏🏼👏🏼

this could be what saves the star wars hotel - they just slap a headset on you and get you to wander the halls of a holiday inn saying "bright suns" to everybody.
