    Pandemic sucks.. but at least now you can go into a lounge and actually relax as you wait for your flight.

    I have a question? Nice video by the way. I see a lot of these videos popping up about the Centurion Lounge I've had the Platinum card now for years but right before covid-19 they put a lot of restrictions on visiting to cut down on overcrowding now going forward there's a lot of rules about going into a centurion Lounge whether you leaving your home base that has a centurion Lounge or you are flying into a airport with a centurion Lounge there a lot of rules have changed would be nice if you guys Implement that in your videos there's a lot missing there. I like you guys videos but it would be nice to do a video on the rule changes. And trust me those rules are not good.

      Good call, Dave - we'll definitely explain a bit more in future Centurion videos. For those reading this, Platinum Card holders can get into Centurion lounges only starting three hours before their scheduled time of departure. You can't use Centurion lounges at the airport you arrive at, unless if you're on a layover.
      Platinum cardholders can also bring in two guests for free, though guests will cost $50 apiece as of February 2023.

    Did you have a connecting flight? I was under the impression you couldn't access the lounges unless you had an outbound flight.

      I did have a connecting flight! And you're correct, you can only get in with a flight departing from the airport (not on arrival) no more than three hours in advance. A connection through Denver will also get you in, though.

    I’m new to this and have never used one of these lounges with my platinum card, so I can’t use the lounge if my arrival ends in Denver? But I could use if I’m departing?

    • @thriftytraveler
      @thriftytraveler  3 года назад +1

      Correct. You need a boarding pass departing Denver in order to get in.

      @@thriftytraveler Free drinks and food? I'll certainly get to the airport extra early. The food at JFK is terrible. I remember I paid $30 for a horrible panini and drink. Now I learn I can get free good food and cocktails. Awesome. Maybe I'll keep the platinum card.

    Wearing a fake protective mask to then fake a voiceover so badly that it looks like a dubbed anime.
