We spent the past 2 years literally hoping for the PH to reopen. When we left in 2020 we thought we would be back in less than 1 year, but we are happy eventually we could come back even now. The Philippines deserves much more attention and tourists ♥️
I'm so impressed with how well you both pronounce local words and places. I appreciate the effort you make. You both are so natural in your dialogue and your narration very informative. I just love your vlogging style! You are so sweet towards each other, one would think Anthony Hopkins and Meryl Streep just got married and went to the Philippines on a honeymoon 🥰👫😍👩❤️💋👨😘 ❤❣️....lol (maybe it's your sweetness that attract the nik niks 😛)
Thank you so much for the detailed comment, it means a lot to us! ♥️ Our language is of latin origin, so it’s also similar to Spanish, maybe that’s why it’s so easy to learn the words and pronounce them correctly 🤗 We try out best to make our vlogs as infirmative as possible about the places we visit, incorporate some local experience in each, we don’t want to be the center piece of the story, but of course we will tell the story through ouw own experience 🥰 Pleased to hear you enjoy our vlogs!
@@roamaniacs I was actually told that Romanian is the spoken language that is closest to Latin, and was going to add it to comment but was concerned it was lengthen messaage too much. But now you've provided your viewers with another factoid 👍 Multumesc 😉
Yes, the solution we found later on was coconut oil. But it’s kind of hard to rub yourself in oil all over and still be able to film and touch equipment 😅 But it did help, sandflies can’t bite through oil. For me (Andreea) I have really bad reaction to their bites and I scratch for at least 2 weeks 🥹
No tourists, even El Nido had a lot less than it used to. But Sibaltan is not bery popular anyway, there’s little development here. Maybe it’s better, the beach and water is so clean 🥰
Its fun to watch you two ha ha its like im with you guys, im glad that you taking life to the fullest.Such a fun blast to watch. TBW / FYI I never been to that place.
Thank you for checking in on me, I didn’t hurt myself, luckily the sand was soft :) and I sat on the left side and the broken wood piece didn’t get to touch me. I got the best case scenario ☺️🤗
Hi! We explored Linapacan in our last visit in 2020, we have done de 4Days/3Nights expedition between El Nido and Coron eith Buhay Isla. The footage is not the best but we will post a short guide on it later. This time we have done the same 4D/3N expedition but in Balabac :)
@@roamaniacs linapacan islands are better in sunny days. Keeloma Expedition if you want to visit Linapacan group of islands unlike any other tour they visit several islands of linapacan. Other tours have campsite that's why they can able to visit their islands when they stranded
@@roamaniacs also Linapacan has 50+ islands. South Linapacan has Pical, Maosonon, barangonan. in North Gintu island, Cacayatan, Nanga, Manlihan, Bolina island. Linapacan area mostly are super white sand, crystal clear water and super healthy corals
@@jorgemontecillo3715 definitely there is still A LOT to explore in Linapacan and we would absolutely love to do it again, but as you say, best to do it in the dry season. Yes, lesson learned! 🙌 To be honest, at a good look it was clear it’s not properly done (the wood was not deep enough in the sand and nothing consolidating it) but when you see swings like that, usually the view captures your attention and you go and sit right away ☺️ Thankfully I didn’t get hurt at all, fell on soft sand and the wood didn’t hit my head :)
Nik nik i heard an issue in Palawan . We don't have that problem in luzon and Visayas.and other part of Mindanao . What os the solution with that problem?
Yes this is true, we have only had issues with nik nik in Palawan. The solution we found was put coconut oil all over your body, they can’t bite through oil. But you always need to keep reapplying. In Balabac they bit even my ears, so it is not a 100% solution, they are really agressive 🥺 The regular mosquito repellents are not helpful at all.. @@roamaniacs thanks.it seldomly emphasize by vacationers coming from Palawan but it was there in the back of my mind almost forgotten until you mentioned it in your trip.and that is the downside of this part of paradise can it discourage tourists coming over there?
@@titosarmiento8333 Unfortunately not everyone is interested to show and speak about the reality out of fear of losing viewers/subs so they will just say how great it is :) I think you can only decide after you experience it. Some people (like me) are more sensitive to nik nik and mosquito bites. Maybe you’re lucky and it will only itch a few days 🤞 I would still go to Balabac despite the nik niks (only seen them on Onok Island and in the evening a few on the beach of our basecamp).
