I listened to this on Facebook. And I was wondering what the issue was. Then I searched and I found out it was one Alhaja and her ex about a privately recorded video. The woman challenged the ex husband to release the private video.First, I don’t think many people following Yinka TNT want to be bothered about most social media gossips. We focus on the values on this platform. I don’t see anything so special about what happened between a couple and why we should spend one hour on it. There is nothing new under heaven. Please madam don’t get too emotional. There is evil in every human. The Holy Book said “We are dead in trespasses and sins”. It is the level of decay that differs. Social media cannot reform flawed human nature. What we are doing on social is cosmetic. People behaviour are influenced by the upbringing, peer influence and theology(the knowledge of God) . Not all human have high values on these areas. If you trust human nature including yourself you are not wise. The sinless Messiah said” you being evil” . So no human being can shock me. I am over 60 and I have seen a bit in this world. So no surprises. Evil has no respect for colour of skin or gender. I don’t agree that Nigerian men are as bad as presented. This is just a problem between a husband and a wife, and can be manifested in many forms. I have cases of women in East Africa killing their husbands because of cheating. Women killing kids because husband cheated. We should be cautious about making sweeping statements. There are so many sophisticated and well-informed people on this platform. Indeed there are other evils manifested by both men and women because both are evil. Only God can change human nature , not religion . There are God triggered phenomena ; calling, transformation, justification, redemption , election, conscience etc. At least 60% of married men in Africa still stay with their wives. 60% is pass mark in any University in the world. So Black men are not as bad as presented. Divorce rate in America is 53% or worse. Evil knows no colour or gender. All are dead in trespasses and sins until transformed by the power of God. All other efforts to transform are cosmetic and temporary including social media admonition. Religion does not transform anyone. Religion is a cloak, a cover for many evils. Only the power of God transforms. That is why I don’t trust anyone including myself. I trust God to transform this clay or dust into something glorious in the end. Religion won’t do that for me. Only the transformational power of God can do that.
