Dubai International Boat Show 2018 is undoubtedly making a mark on the maritime leisure industry in the region and worldwide. According to a report published by the World of Yachts in February, UAE is ranked 9th in the world’s superyachts in production in 2018, with 14 new builds with a combined length of 611 metres being manufactured in the country. With the global ocean industry expected to hit 3 trillion dollars by 2030, marine and coastal tourism is expected to contribute a quarter of this.

It also helps that with the Dubai Canal, the marina in Port Rashid and Dubai Marina, there is so much more space and visibility to promote the business of luxury yachts. Another up and coming business booster for this field is the Dubai Harbour.
