I just picked up some crackle medium from Vallejo to try, seeing how the effect looks on this lure, I'm more excited to use it. I have a black and Chartreuse pattern I call Bogwater I'm going to try with this effect instead of the tulle I use and see what happens. Thanks for sharing.
PVA is really good when used as a 'Crackle Medium', the thicker the PVA the wider and larger the cracks! Don't let the PVA fully dry and spray over with desired colour.
I do have one body style that has a hole in the bill. They say it causes bubbles for attention. I cant confirm if it actually is effective in catching fish.
