      I really think it has helped me in many ways. I no longer need to use a vest to carry my phone in order to track my time/pace etc. and I think it's so much more convenient for intervals and so on :) I'm still quite new to using it so I will learn more about it as I get along.

      I hope u gona try a marathon again ,
      but be patient when it comes to running faster times but am absolutely sure that in 2 years you will be doing times under 3h
      for u right now it would be good to train for 5K and 10k races .. to get faster and get the times down on these distances .. so in the winter I would put more focus on training for 5K and 10K races and some HM races and then autumn try a marathon.

    You should try experimenting with eating protein from animals the night before and the day of your runs. People like to carbo load but animal protein is the best store of energy and I feel infinitely better during my runs because of that. However, everyone is different but it's worth trying out to see if it works for you.

    • @maxw5900
      @maxw5900 4 месяца назад

      @ziggi56 No, fat from animals is the best because it's stored in the form of triglycerides, not macromolecules. Fat from animals provides more than twice the potential energy as carbs or protein. It's not just my opinion.

    • @ziggi56
      @ziggi56 4 месяца назад

      @@maxw5900 Thanks for this discussion! I was researching triglycerides because of it :) But I have some questions. Are we talking about protein or fats? Triglycerides are basically fats, and are therefore also part of plant based fats. If you mean saturated fats are best, coconut oil has a lot of those for example. But in general the body can also generate triglycerides easily by itself and does so from any surplus calories. Which is why it is normally without a lot of exercise rather a problem that you have too many triglycerides in your blood.
