Strange Death of Alex Raymond is still up for pre-order on Amazon, but all existing copies of the book were misprinted and have been ordered to be destroyed. So that's a collector's item in your hands there! The new reprints won't be out until December at the earliest.
Just received news today that Amazon has received, shipped and delivered misprint copies, over a month after Diamond was made aware that they had accidentally shipped the known misprints to comic stores world wide. If you do get a copy from Amazon it is a misprint. Sadly this means that the majority of our print run is now sold out, as a misprint that we notified the printing press of weeks before they shipped the book to Diamond. The series of disasters, all of which occurred well after the printing press and Diamond were notified to not ship the books, to destroy the books, to reprint the books, etc. is unfathomable to me at this point. If you want to read a book that really, really, really was never supposed to see the light of day, this would be that book. Hopefully come December you can read it in its intended state.
Ah but the Dracula masterworks due next month Omar *does* contain newly re-mastered versions of the comics. And new intros as well which I believe are from Marv Wolfman and Gerry Conway.
I would definitely buy all marvel and DC golden age comics just update or remaster the art. I know it's classic but I can't bear it. Keep the panels and bubbles same just rework the entire background and character style to match today's look. If they don't have any stories please just republish all golden age comics and in an orderly manner so people can read easily and can live through their fav characters journey.

If the second go round with the printer goes better the book should hit the market on December 1st. Low is fantastic! I just got V1 and 2. Glad I didn't have trouble getting them both. The art and color reproduction in those books, on that heavy, slick paper, is so sexy. Very much like what Mike Kennedy at Magnetic does that make his books so nice.

It appears to be a slipcases offering of both the Deconstr Incall and Metabarons which are both available together for close to 1/3rd the price. This box set is set to be limited to 1500 units. Other than the faux scarcity, does it have any content not available in the individual books?

Deadpool by Joe Kelly Omnibus is 1 of 3 whales remaining that I would love to see reprinted! However, it seems Marvel is Deadpooled out, as far as recent collections for the character. Other than the 2 Joe Kelly CCs and the King Deadpool vols, he hasn’t had much going on lately, probably because most of his stuff has been released already. I recall hearing good things about the Spider-Man/Deadpool run maybe 3 years ago, and then nothing. I wouldn’t mind all of it in an omnibus. It did last a long time, I think.

Do you think we will ever get the collection of the what ifs that include mid 90s stuff, and things like what if wolverine was a vampire? I never saw that one in a collection. I loved what if.
oh wow the art cleans up on LOW? might have to give it a second chance. The art at the beginning of the series was some of the worst at telling anyone emotion i couldn’t connect to any character.

My excel spreadsheet of "Graphic novels I Own" is invaluable so I don't double dip.

He said his friend Gabe gave/sold it to him. It is pretty expensive now for a thin OHC. I think it came out over 3 years ago.
