Same
Same man this song is addicted
Same😮💨
Now I regret not learning French in Canada
SAME HERE 😢😂😢😂😢😂😢😂😢😂
Long story short, he's singing about gettin on his bike and riding away from the troubles of the world with a join lt between his teeth, not caribg about the cinsequences that his freedom may cost.
Becane is French slang for motorbike.
Pretty much all his music is well put together, well arranged and well executed. You should react to "Call of Vahalla."

Verse1:
Bitch it has been a very very long time that i think about it but i didn't have your thrive.
Never pay attention about gossip, those bigmouths never saw the world through your eyes.
I try to speak with them in their language in vain, they only understand the language of violence.
I stripe on my body armour, you didn't see me flinch when i had to pass the slow circuit ( with his bike).
Sankara, Cheikh Anta, N****r, i have chosen my rolemodels, reliable like german engins.
Independent, no gold, no teeth.
I share more, then the elders of your elders.
I don't look at them, they are not concentrated.
I am not waiting for the pass , they cannot center.
I am Bantu, don't talk to me in Basané. We didn't came here to swag around.
Get away with your coke, i got my family.
Bridge:
I pull on the handgrip, i offend the time.
I am cruising like someone is waiting for me.
I lock this Johnny between my teeth.
Chorus:
2x
I am taking out the Becane (motorbike)
I smoke weed.
I don't give a fuck if it's dangerous. I only see metal bars , the Becane is yelling and i escape hell.
Verse 2:
Acra (african dish) helps to concentrate. The hate that i have in my thoughts. In this predefined game.
Bridge
2x
I am taking out the Becane, cane, ouuuhh
2x
Becane , i am smoking weed.
Chorus:

I am taking out the Becane (motorbike)
I smoke weed.

He is singing so well..AND THIS WHOLE SONG IS ABOUT A BIKE?!?
It's about having a good time between the hard days.
Isn't it more about an experience of his then just a bike?
I cried the first time I heard it. "I'm taking out my motorcycle and getting out of hell"
Either me
If you ride u know
Oho😂😂 cry baby.u read the lyrics in english
@@alexsmith-lj9yk bro @samlepirate4845 is french. He know the lyrics...
He says that he feels relieved from all the world's pressure & forgets about his problems when he takes out his motocycle & drives fast while smoking a doobie stuck in his teeth. He says he doesn't give a shit if it's dangerous. When the engine screams, it feels like he comes out of hell. Love this artist too! His voice is very genuine unlike most singers these days. He's got a great vibe! 😍

I don’t speak French but I’ve had this on repeat for like a month. It’s as if he uses his voice as an instrument. This song has so much layers and depth. It’s like a roller coaster ride. He is a true artist. This is real music. He starts off rap/singing high pitch, then normal rap then singing deep then using his voice to make sounds that amplify the beat then singing high and repeats it all. Absolutely impressive
Sa voix est comme une mélodie dans presque toute la musique, c'est bien meilleur que touts les autres rap francais ❤
Exact petit.
Exact petit.
Ong it's crazy
this should be in the next James Bond movie. this song is powerful
It's about smoking weed while riding motorbike xD not sure it'll fit haha
Yamê is French-Cameroonian born in 1995 in Paris. He writes his lyrics and score. He plays several musical instruments but he chose the piano. ❤❤❤
"i cant wait to listen to this very loudly" lmao well said
This song is the essence of riding your motorcycle and not giving a damn about anything else.
J'adore
Bro you tha goat. Period.
You perfectly understood the style of Yamê when you talked about « Ne me quitte pas » from Jacques Brel. He said in interview that he grew up with french variety because of his mother. So this is a part of who he really is.
Respect from a french guy bro
Man I’m from Paris, Yame is a great artist and this guy just analyzed pefectly Bécane without even understanding the lyrics. And Mr L Boyd coming out with the French music culture is insane
Yes, because Jaques Brel is belgian, same Stromae ;)
Yeah, dude is a lifelong pianist and jazz musician, who just so happened to get into rap music. So of course all of his music is organic.
Music is a universal language, this song is really touched my soul
respect mec
Glad everyone is enjoying this like i did when I first heard it 😄
I knew I wasn’t tripping I listened over and over
I didn't know this channel, it's one of the only English-speaking reactions that is pleasant to watch as a French speaker. We feel a real respect for art. Thanks for that
As someone that took french classes and absolutely love the tongue of it, how he enunciates his words is beautiful, French is gorgeous as is but his voice adds the right emotion and swag to it
One day during an interview he said that he wants his musics to be able to played by real musicians not just electronic so yeah, that's why it's soo good 😊😊
What happened to his teeth?
It's all about vibes. When I was kid I listened 2Pac and Biggie and didn't even understood a word but I felt a vibes. This is same. Doesn't matter if you don't understand what he sing about you can feel his vibes.
as a afro american that made me smile, i feel the same about foreign music
I just found out about this dude yesterday, and he's amazing. Check out his song, "Bahwai." So, so good.
Go listen to call of Valhalla
@ramy7971 Heard it about an hour ago. It's absolutely incredible. 👍🏽
Call of Valhalla is pure fire @@ramy7971

this chorus has to be one of the catchiest fucking choruses in a MINUTE. so good.

[pre-chorus:]
keep your your cocaine, I have my cc
(cc is basically related to the speed of his motorcyle so doesn't need drug, he has the freedom of his motorcycle)
I turn the handle, I crush time
I ride as if someone was waiting for me
I put the blunt (or motorcycle exhaust pipe) between my teeth, m'bah ouai, m'bah ouai

Beautiful song and amazing reaction, literally you were going through the emotions like i was.
I stumbled upon this masterpiece on IG about a month ago. It was just a small clip but it was so captivating, I had to go find it on YT. I don’t know what this man is even saying but I know for a fact that he means every word! Music is universal! This is just beautiful
How come we have all cried the first time we've ever heard this damn song? How is he reaching deep into our souls and finding the one thing that might be hurting us and just ringing it out.. wow😮
Just discovered him this morning…and I am addicted. He is unique, as you said.
I found this song close to a week ago. I've had it on repeat for a while.
The shock and delight after that beat drop was so real and pure. Can’t mimick that level of joy.
When you actually see the translation, it makes it so emotional
This is vocally perfect!
Felt the same feeling almost cried man goshhh this guy is unbelievable
The song is about him being free riding his motorcycle. The way he sings is mimicking the sound of a bike going away from you.
he’s got my heart at attention! can’t get enough of him from the 1st time - i think the whole world feels the same way! i hope he rises to stardom
I dont even speak French but you can feel this, it's everyone's pain.

" I think we can listen to this again loudly" I felt that from my soul lmao
Hi, i'm french guy who passed by. Glad you like the song, I'm a big fan of Yame and pandrezz (the guy who composes the instrumental) since the beggining and I'm so happy to see their music breaking borders. And in fact Jaques Brel was Belgian not French ;) Nice react tho !
I'm so glad I could watch the full video just earlier I've watched a short on Facebook and I got to say I'm not disappointed
The music video for this song is awesome.
The song is about escaping his hard knock life (langage de violence) by lighting up a joint (le pétard) and hopping on his motorcycle (bécane).
I love how your reactions arent just you listening to music but you actually give thoughtfull insight!
I’ve listened to this song over a thousand times and still get the same feeling dudes genius check out his other music he 🔥

Hi, im from Brazil... sou do Brasil adoro o seu canal e essa música é muito boa adorei seu react, mesmo não entendedor muito... adoro todos vcs americanos ❤. Que Deus estejam com todos nós
Amen from France god bless you
Obrigada 🫶🏾
Reading the lyrics reminded me what's rap about. All the gangsta aggressive spits become powerless compared to the reality described in this lyric and by his voice.
Basically he s talking about escaping darkness of reality with a big blunt between his teeth on a big motorcycle and cruising away despite the risks it takes .
He just saiys "Fuck it, I ride my bike, smoke weed, don't give a shit". All this creativity just for a simple feeling, it's powerful
Im glad you see that emotion, the most powerful music is conveyed through emotion.
I have been searching for this song since I heard a snippet of it in passing someone. A snippet was enough, to someone in love with music, to know the incredible emotion poured in to a vocal display of art. This song is easily the most exquisite exhibition of vocal talent where feelings are so seamlessly transferred from one human being to another...without understanding the actual words. A masterpiece vocally with sound instrumental integrity. A recording of harmony.
You ever just hear something and it just pulls you in? I heard the french and was intrigued, but his sound and this beat are something else. This is dope. He took that old timey post ww2 french jazz singer vibe and rhythm and updated it. This shit is something else. I'll be the only dude in my area that will have this shit blaring out the whip. Maybe one of the few that actually understands a bit of it.
don't speak French but man is fire. I'm changing my language. song sounds so emotional and important.
just found your channel bro , i like that you actually understand music compared to these others reactors who just go “ohh that’s lit😮” def gon subscribe
He grew up in cameroon and france. His dad was a well known artist in cameroon.
Yamê is biologically a Cameroonian, culturally a French. He came to Douala, the economic capital of Cameroon, to make the video for this music as if to pay respect to his Cameroonian roots. Wonderful.
Also when he sings the chorus a second time with only the first line, then he vocalizes with "Wouh-wouh!", I feel like it is like him making the sound of the bike as to give a vocal representation of the bike.
My god what a B E A U T I F U L voice, Simply 🙌
Very unique talent, not many as him wandering around... Great respect from Brasil
Yamê IS brilliant! I am a fluent French speaker. Yamê's lyrics are beautiful even with slang in them. :) Je sors (j'sors la bécane /be'kan/. Bécane is a motorbike. I take my bike... etc.

Amazing talent! He is Great artiste. This is different.. ❤🎉🎉
Music truly transcends languages
I don’t have no idea but this song I heard it three or four times and every time I heard it it still gives me the goosebumps like he’s digging really deep inside Just amazing
For anyone who is interested,
This song is is about smoking green and riding a big motorcycle to escape a bad situation. Also, he does not care if its dangerous.
More, it's about being misunderstood and the people around him are bad people.
'He does not need you cocaine, he has cc's'
Cc's is a reference to motorcycle engine size.
There is more reference to being reliable like a German engine
This guy likes to smoke and ride. This is how he escapes reality. Its deeply meaningful for him. Its all he wants and needs.
If you listen to more of his music, a lot is about motorcycles, smoke and the gap in his teeth.
Honestly, I love this guy. It's my new riding song
I went thru the rest of his music and its all just like this made a playlist of just his music by itself
Ngl this the first song I ever cried to, this is an absolute masterpiece.
My friend I had to subscribe to your channel, I discovered yamê a few days ago and after listening several times, I looked for some reactions and you are certainly a person who understands music and your comments are surgical, I am a Brazilian who lives in Europe congratulations on your excellent work
Finally I can comment this! THANK YOU for taking the 20 seconds to google the lyrics and also care about them and not "just" on the singing.

Lyrics translated with chatGPt :
I've been thinking for a very, very long time about how to get myself right, I don't have your momentum
Never listen to gossip; those who chatter haven't seen life through your world
I speak their language, but it seems they only understand the language of violence

I don't fear them; they're not focused
I don't wait for the pass; they can't center
I'm Bantu; don't talk to me about being dark-skinned
We didn't come here to show off
Pack up your nonsense; I have my own style
I turn the handle; I crumple time
I ride as if someone is waiting for me
And I stick the joint between my teeth
Well, yeah

I don't give a damn if it's dangerous as hell
I see nothing but bars, iron bars
The bike screams, and I come out of hell on a big iron
I bring out the bike, and I smoke the weed
I don't give a damn if it's dangerous as hell
I see nothing but bars, iron bars
The bike screams, and I come out of hell on a big iron
The AKRA helps to focus
The hatred I feel in my thoughts
In this well-trodden business
I bring out the bike, and I smoke the weed
I don't give a damn if it's dangerous as hell
I see nothing but bars, iron bars
The bike screams, and I come out of hell on a big iron
I bring out the bike, and I smoke the weed
I don't give a damn if it's dangerous as hell
I see nothing but bars, iron bars
The bike screams, and I come out of hell on a big iron

I love that in the beginning verse you’re listening critically and giving longer form responses, and once the chorus hits it’s like, “yeah ok! This is crazy.” 😂 that’s what this song does. Draws you in and makes you want to listen more
