    What do you think of the Fiat 600e? Let me know in the commeNts below!

    That's e-Niro money... (around 38k was the list price)...and that car still can't be beaten at this price.

      Niro EV K3 trim at that price is serious value!

      @@NevoEVReviewIreland Well, when I got into EVs with the e-Niro in 2020 I thought it's still early adopter stuff and expected my next car in 3 years time to cost a lot less and do 500km in winter on motorway. What I got instead is that the e-Niro is still competitive 4 years later. Which is a huge disappointment for me. I expected it to be laughable by now - like those thick Nokia phones with tiny screens we thought were so cool. (now driving an Ioniq 5 which is great, but still the same 500km-ish city range as with the 2018 e-Niro/Kona tech)

    I’ve not sat in the e-C3 but it looks a lot cheaper than the 600, even allowing for the smaller battery. The Inster looks like good competition as well. And how much is the new small Alfa-Romeo? I wouldn’t look at this car for long.

    A very good review but what were the Fiat Designers thinking? A face on the front of the car?

  • @desobrien7357

    I like it looking more 500 like. The la prima version is getting close to ionic5 teritory so is it worth another 6k for a bigger car? Once ev3 is here it could give it serious competition.
    Another one to hire on hols in italy.
    Thanks

    I think it should sell well though FIAT has never had the same impact when compared to Peugeot . Interesting to compare it with it's stablemate the Peugeot e2008 .

    Thank for an interesting review.
    Stellantis are doing some of the most interesting things among European car manufacturers with the price/feature/performance points they are hittting across their brands. This is about the size of car I like, though I would be happy with a coupe rather than a family SUV. I really would not feel too deprived in the driver’s seat with the features provided; the main lack is a bit of power as I still like hot hatches. Nice to see proper buttons and I also like a small infotainment screen because in some premium brands the infotainment is far too pervasive. On the infotainment point I noted a recent Porsche review where the infotainment had a small screen, so a premium brand has made the same judgement.

      Top choices not necessarily in order. I like what Mini and Smart are doing. For a third I have what is becoming a desperate hope that Alfa Romeo will do something right.
      As you may have gathered I think the premiums brands have lost their way and purpose, but I expect I would quite like the latest Maserati EV coupe.

      I had not heard about the Citroen coupe so thank you. I quite like coupe coupes rather than fast back SUVs. I do not need much space in the back of anything, especially if it precludes children though not dogs, so a traditional coupe suits me. That is why I have my fingers crossed for Alfa.

    Why would you think you’d have larger rear tyres on the back of a fwd car?! lol! Base (RED) model gets alloy wheels as standard…….not steelies. You get hill hold and one pedal driving on the 500e which is obviously Stellantis. 🎉🎉🎉

    • @NevoEVReviewIreland
      @NevoEVReviewIreland  3 месяца назад +2

      Thanks for all the clarification. I don't know why I checked the rear tyres either.
      I believe the Red is limited edition and there will be a base trim besides Red.
      I couldn't remember those 500e features! Why not on other Stellantis models, even the e5008 from Peugeot I drove last week

    • @Nexus6Variant
      @Nexus6Variant 3 месяца назад +2

      500e pre-dates Stellantis ownership so when Fiat was FCA they decided this was am important feature for a city car which is why it is (currently) EV only on a bespoke platform unrelated to any other car.

  • @toyotaprius79
    @toyotaprius79 3 месяца назад +2

    Not terribly amused by this 600/500XL when it was released and still faces stronger competition inside and outside of Stellantis. Would much rather a Citroën ëC4.
    A true Fiat 600 would be the outgoing 500L mpv, a practical family car that really would benefit more from electrification.

    • @toyotaprius79
      @toyotaprius79 3 месяца назад +1

      The fact that this is supposed to be a larger alternative than the 500e without developing and offering any more variants based on the city EV's platform is worrying if not questionable.
      Why not base the new Panda on that 500e platform instead of the ëC3/Indian market car? Why not develop a slightly longer Giardinia 500-estate? There's a rear clamshell version in LHD but very little has been said for it.
      It's just bad news and poor resourcefulness when a sole platform is devoted to one model. It's strange given how many other triplets and quadruplets exist in Stellantis's lineup.

    • @NevoEVReviewIreland

      EC3 and the INSTER from Hyundai will be interesting. I'm also interested in the Panda Grande from Fiat too.

    • @sharonec5419
      @sharonec5419 3 месяца назад

      @@toyotaprius79500e is pre Stellantis ownership. It's from when FIAT was still FCA and that is also why its a one model only platform. Maybe they were going to develop more on it but why would they now when they have the combined resources of the stellantis group and can share platforms like the new Grand Panda with the Citroen E-C3 and Opel Frontero will all be based on the same platform. It just works out cheaper to do that I guess.
