one thing I think is tough to consider is that in 416 teams with unknown 100+ kcers, they can still be pretty bad and might get popped by a crab explosion during p2 verzik, so it can still be nice to have extra supplies to clutch out the kill
Tip 3 is something I've been thinking about a lot. 90% of the time when I've avoided learning a piece of content or a new mechanic, my thought upon actually learning it was "What was I afraid of? Why did I wait this long just to try it?" I think it's a great principle for OSRS PvM generally!
This is great advice. I had around 12 KC bringing in alot of pots/restores and less switches. Got the kc but it was slow, inefficient. Now I bring like 5 or 6 more switches, mostly hard food and only a couple pots after going with a more experienced team that forced me to bring less supplies and more dps gear (claws, dwh && bgs, swift blade, thralls, heart, etc). The raids are more fun, engaging (more stuff to do), and way quicker. Up to around 20-25kc now.
Proper defense reduction is huge, and a good indicator that an individual didn't learn tob right. People even try doing HMT when they don't know proper defense reduction. Another good piece of advice is bow proc maiden for freeze roles

Speaking of stuff to get better at: Stop tanking maiden as a mage. Don't bother and stay max range brother. You can tank after 30's. If your mdps and rdps die they're trolling.
Good video, I’m at over 1k toa KC and run 540s consistently but only have 22 tob KC. I still can’t web walk and my Xarpus walk is always scuffed lol. But I definitely see the appeal to this raid. I always said if you could do high invo toa in 20 minutes like you can tob, it would be an amazing raid. I think the issue with tob is the entry barrier and learning it makes it hard to get into it. This is what TOA did perfect. You can create the raid with invocations to match your learning curve. Imagine if you could solo or duo tob efficiently and have the bosses dialed down to where it’s just as efficient? This way you can easily learn all mechanics of the raid and you won’t PK teammates. TOA and COX would be empty and TOB would be flooded with people. It’s just such good content
Tob has by far the best designed bosses in the game. Toa mechanics are terrible and high invo is just adding defense and hp which is incredibly stupid.
@@xsah2 not saying you’re wrong, but there are many efficient things to do at TOA high levels with the invocations on top of pathfinder being on and consistently hitting the S40 timer. It’s no where near as complex as people say TOB is but it still has its place
You should try to do a collab video with Mightiee, he posted a video learning his first few tob runs a couple of days ago. You could teach him a lot, he defo needs the help and it would be a good show of your teaching. Everyone wins if the two of you get in touch for a collab ToB learner vid
Thanks for all your advice! I do have a question. I finally feel comfortable bringing a Divine SCB pot into TOB. When should I be sipping my 4 doses? I also bring two regular SCB pots.
Nice vids. Not sure if this interests you but Ill shoot my shot cuz im getting desperate at this point haha. Idk if youre consistently doing tob but im looking for people to help finish my scythe grind on my iron and I will duo split it. Example if scythe is a bil i give 500m each in a trio. Currently at 36 purples id be down to run some :)
I'd say the big problem is the "learners" who never see this video because they just want to win it and expect someone else to explain every room before they go in/never want to improve.
