Being in the 82nd was a blast and I can say that I have seen fucked up airborne operations like this. Being dropped into trees, close to equipment and vehicles, being dropped off the DZ, soldiers being dragged by their chutes and just dumb judgment calls by soldiers when exiting the aircraft and landing. Being Airborne is awesome, but there is alot of accidents that have happened to soldiers such a breaking bones, concussions, sprained ankles, and other injuries. But this video gave me a great fucking laugh.
Ever see a Sheridan do a flip in mid air? C-130 came in with a LAPES, the M-551 came out and slid on the runway, and then started flipping on and off the ground down North Airfield. Two .45 cal grease guns were missing too. After a week or two of the Riggers and Armor units being on lockdown, they showed up in the swimming pool at Bragg.
And this is why I did my time on the ground, it only happens occasionally, but it happens, and dont expect the foriegn doctors at the VA to take care of you
It's reminds me of Papua, when Jeeps just thrown from an airplane and landed on the top of the Papua's Jungle Canopy...the locals even call them the "Flying Ghost Car"...it's because the jeep headlamp is still on

War is never under own control and in the air without the benefit of wings even much less so. I liked the unmanned Humvee(???) attack, I just wondered if it was pointed at the enemy positions or not?
The runaway vehicle and the chute opening split seconds before impact are straight out of a slapstick cartoon movie. :D
