I was in attendance of Taboo Tuesday 2004. I was eleven years old and it was my first pay per view I was ever in attendance for. I was so excited to be there that I hadn’t noticed the poor attendance and only just found it was the worst attended WWE PPV. I still have great memories of seeing Shelton Benjamin beating Jericho and the steel cage match between Flair and Orton. Kinda cool and eye opening to know how lucky I was to be there.

To be fair, IYH Ground Zero and Rage in the Cage were both at the Louisville Gardens which at full capacity could only hold 6,000 people. With the stage setup and everything it was less than that. At 5,500 Rage in the Cage was probably a sell out and Ground Zero wasn't too far off. It was pretty common during that time frame for WWE to run smaller buildings like that, so some of the other IYH events probably were at or near capacity for the building.

However, both still had low attendance numbers as night one is tied with Taboo Tuesday '05 at 6,000 fans, whereas night two is just below December to Dismember with only 4,500 fans present at the North Charleston Coliseum in North Charleston, SC.

To be fair with In Your House Ground Zero, it was held at the Louisville Gardens, a small arena that I"m not even sure is open anymore, it has only 6k seats to begin with and when you factor in entrance ways taking up seats, getting almost 5k people to the show is still good percentage wise. Could they have held it at a bigger venue in Louisville? Sure, Freedom Hall was open, as was Broadbent Arena but that one is just over 6.6k cap as well. it would also be the last show WWE would hold there until July of 1999 (although I think that maybe a mistake given the attendance was listed at 14k, the arena like I said fits only 6k). It was mainly used by WWE's old developmental show, OVW as the PPV venue.
Why WWE would hold a ppv there to this day is still rather odd and questionable.

"You needed a small nuclear power station to even run the internet in 2005"? This is like suggesting that you had to have a small nuclear power plant at home to play video games in 1995.
Back in 1995 the internet was primitive and uncommon, yet by 2000 a live web poll was pretty easy. In 2005 we had plenty of internet, at least in the US where dialup was already close to dead for households. Mobile internet was still rare, but that had nothing to do with anything.

*referring to the Lumberjacks IYH. Should’ve known there’d be more than a few appearances on this list by everyone’s favourite 90’s B-PPV chain.

Kurt Angle should’ve wrestled Xanta Claus instead but more because it could’ve given us Kurt Angle vs Balls Mahoney 😂

Wow. My city shows up twice on a tens list lol. They ran the smaller venue though, so I assume WWF intended to run smaller. I didn’t go to either unfortunately, would have loved to. My uncle was at at least one though, probably both honestly. And one was where Nash made his mind up to jump to WCW. It’s cool to learn the significant behind the scenes moments that happened in various locations.
WWF were on fire after the 2nd one so they began running our larger arena. And since an even larger one was built that they now run, and tarp off half the seating. Funny how that works. Packed mid size arenas to half empty large ones lol.

I always figured that the name "In Your House" was a not-so-subtle reference to the event being simply a televised house show.

A lot of "in your house" shows 🤔
Could have been a down period for WWE.
I'd like to see a video of shows later than the 90s

Hearing 8200 attendance for a Starcade PPV shows that the public had 0 interest in wrestling in 2005. Also if those Taboo Tuesday/ Cybersunday PPVs happened nowadays, the internet would 100% troll WWE!

I'm probaly the only person on the Planet that liked ECW December to Dismember.
    Probaly because of the Memory's.
I was 14 at that Time and watched it with 2 friend. The Dad of one of them ordered December to Dismember and we loved it. Because most the Time we only watched the TV Shows after school. So we diden't know it sucked for a PPV.😂

Let's make something perfectly clear...December to Dismember 2006 was a masterpiece because Kelly Kelly & Shelly Martinez were present. I was hooked on them back then in 2006 when I was 12 & I am hooked on them now at the time of this message at 27 in 2023. Everything else in the show including the chamber was just filler. I said what i said.

It's amazing how bad WWF/E was before WCW revolutionized the industry in 96. To be fair, WCW was pretty bad too before Bischoff came along. Early 90s wrestling was uhhhhhgg.

Not for nothing, all of the shows held at the Louisville Gardens could actually be considered successes. Reason being the arena holds 6000 people. Throwing out numbers and claims without context of an arena’s capacity.
